We LOVE a Bertucci's caramelized onion, roasted eggplant, and sausage pizza! Better than the local wood fired oven pizza!! And the closest Bertucci's is almost 30 minutes away, so we don't get it that often ?

We visit occasionally and do really like Bertucci's in general. It's great that there is still one left local to us. Most of the time, the food is pretty tasty which is why we come back. However, the last few times we have seen a sharp decline in quality. The rolls are no longer fresh, the pizza has been burnt and just overall is lacking flavor. One thing has always been the same here though, the staff as a whole always look miserable. No one smiles or communicates. Any interaction with guests seems scripted and disingenuous. Personally, in my opinion, this lack of care here is causing the poor quality food and service. It's a shame because I'd hate to see this place close like all the others.

Idk what happened to this place. I have such fond memories of this restaurant when I was a kid. The food was always good.
Fast forward to Thursday 8/29 and my daughter requests this restaurant for her birthday meal. We were seated right away. It took 10-15 minutes before the waitress asked us what we wanted to drink. She said she would be back shortly to take our order. She returned another 15-20 mins later. When our food came my side salad was a bowl of onions. So many it made the rest of the salad taste like one giant onion. My pizza was subpar and my daughters Mac and cheese wasn’t cooked all the way.
Once it came time for the check the waitress left it on the table “no rush”. But eagle eyed our table from across the room waiting for us to pay. Came back twice asking “is the card in here”. She was more attentive to the check than she had been to us all evening.

A frequent spot for my family and I. We love the pizzas and bread. Solid restaurant.

Shockingly, it was a really good experience. We were expecting a run-of-the-mill Italian restaurant, but everything was delicious and well portioned.
