We took our dog to the vet in Glastonbury and wanted to find a dog friendly place for lunch. This place showed up in Google map. I called ahead and the host, whom I believe is the owner, said they not only welcome dog, they love them. We were obviously seated at the outdoor patio with our dog. The owner came and welcomed us and our Labradoodle. I ordered the seafood chowder. It was freshly made and creamy. The sweet potato fries are also delicious. Will definitely visit again when we are in the Glastonbury in the future.

I left my card here and these people took my information. I went back to the restaurant and they used my card for multiple payments. Not only did they deny this, they still had the card and offered no apology. Completely unremorseful after spending money here. Dishonest people. Any other restaurant wouldn't act like the way they did. Bartender and manager was rude and offered no help. Will never come back to this restaurant and do not suggest to spend money here.

Fantastic food, atmosphere and staff. You feel a great vibe whether on the patio or inside. You can get a salad or apps or they have full meals from paninis, meatloaf, steaks, salmon and other options. Great cocktails, too! I highly recommend a visit.

I can't tell you how disappointed WE all were. We gathered as a family celebrating my brothers 60th birthday. My niece flew from Asheville, NC. A gift, especially after the devastation of Hurricane Helene 3 weeks earlier. She missed her connecting flight today, threw no fault of her own. Dinner was good but we felt the server was eager to get us all out of there. We heard from her when she delivered the check, the kitchen is closed. WHAT!! We were never offered dessert, my brother wanted a coffee especially with his long drive home and my mom didn't get her tea. I am so upset. I got up to use the restroom to cool off.
I see the manger to express my diappointment. She doesn't understand why I am so upset since "your server had offered you dessert". I can assure you she never did!! We got the check, and she said the kitchen was closed. I confirmed with my family, thinking perhaps I had missed something. Nope, they agreed with me. Thank goodness. Bin 228, I expected better. The bill was not cheap. $400 plus later and that's not including what we had already spent at the bar. It's not every day you turn 60 and getting the family together. Shame on you Bin 228 Glastonbury. We expected better. My family and I chose your restaurant to celebrate my brothers very special occasion and you let us all down. Tsk tsk!! Very disappointed indeed!!

First time here for me. Seems like a fun place. Interesting menu with decent prices. I got the tater tots poutine but as a Canadian, it was a disappointment. There was no gravy, basically tater tots with melted cheese. The fish and chips were bland even with malt vinegar. From appetizer it was a long 30 minutes before our entrees came. Our server Leah was entertaining and apologized for the long wait. Other food was rated good. I'd come again for happy hour.

Great drinks, apps and service. One of our favorite spots in town. Street corn and dumplings are 2 of our favorites.

Clearly, this place is an outstanding modern American eatery that masterfully combines creativity with culinary excellence. From the moment we stepped onto the inviting outdoor patio and into the tranquil, contemporary interior, it was clear we were in for a special evening.
The menu at Bin 228 is remarkably comprehensive, catering to an array of palates with its extensive selection of drinks, appetizers, and main dishes. The drink options deserve particular accolades—whether your preference lies with wine, beer, cocktails, or mocktails, Bin 228 offers a remarkable variety. The mocktails impressed us in particular, presenting a creative, flavorful alternative that rivals their alcoholic counterparts in both taste and aesthetic appeal.
Appetizers were both innovative and satisfying, perfectly setting the stage for the main courses. These dishes continued to impress with their variety, exquisite presentation, and deep, rich flavors.
It’s important to note that Bin 228 falls on the higher end of the price spectrum, but in return we got an exceptional, inventive culinary experience that highlights the quality and creativity of contemporary American cuisine.

I’ve eaten here many times over the years and can’t believe I haven’t left a review! It’s always a fun time to stop in here for drinks and apps. The Brussels sprouts are always so tasty, and the tater tots are perfect and phenomenal.
I somehow always end up getting the salmon salad because it’s just so yummy, and I def recommend it. This time too I tried the fried avocado and it was absolutely delish, also get this as an app.

Food poisoning ?
Blonde Hostess was a joke and asked us why we were there. I’m like for lunch. Then saw her getting cozy with the staff.
