I was visiting the city for the 1st time and this was one of the places I wanted to check out to grab a treat. This ice shop is located on the plaza inside the science center. Prices are reasonable the girl that help me was very friendly. Ice cream was delicious definitely worth checking out if you're in town.

WHAT A FANTASTIC TREAT! I hired the Blue Chip Creamery Truck for a school event and the kids were so EXCITED! There was a line to get one of these delicious ice cream sandwiches as soon as they pulled up in front of the school... EVEN IN THE FREEZING COLD! :0 I also have to add how easy and delightful it was working with Christina and Matt (the owners) to have them at our event. They are so kind and fun. If you need a superb ice cream truck (even if its winter), Blue Chip Creamery is the best.

Ordered 4 pints for a Valentine’s Day treat for the kiddos to dive into. This was my first time hearing about Blue Chip Creamery and first purchase and we were certainly WOW’d by not only the ice cream which was tightly packed and soft enough to scoop (I can’t stand hard as a rock ice cream) but also the convenience of same day delivery and the exceptional customer service by the owner himself!! I didn’t know this was a couple owned business. I love that for them. We will most certainly be repeat customers!!!

We hired Blue Chip Creamery Truck as one of the dessert caterers for our wedding on Friday, May 17th, 2024. I had learned about Blue Chip Creamery Truck via an online search, and we loved the idea of having an ice cream truck for our guests. We chose the All-Inclusive Wedding package for 75-100 people, which included the following: 8 flavors of premium hard service ice cream (including a dairy free option), 4 selections of their handcrafted cookie sandwiches, waffle cones and cups, and unlimited toppings (w/ exclusion of peanuts due to a guest’s allergy). We had perfect weather on a beautiful sunny day and our guests were so surprised when Blue Chip Creamery Truck pulled up to our house. Blue Chip Creamery Truck was the right choice for our wedding, and we will certainly use them again for future events.

Ice cream delivery, I really don't think there's much more to say... 😋 I placed an online order Friday evening and I received my order Saturday. I had a couple of questions and they were answered quickly through IG. Not being sure whether or not I was in the 20-mile radius, I gave it a try and it went through - I'm right around that 20 mile mark. (They are located in Glastonbury and I live in Higganum)
There is a 30.00 minimum for free delivery.
Matt/co-owner was super friendly and kept me posted when he was about 20 minutes from my home.
I ordered the mint chocolate chunk, vanilla bean, Connecticut River fudge and the waffle chips / toppings.
Although I tasted each one and I am super happy with the flavors and the creaminess, I decided to have a serving of the Connecticut River fudge with a couple of toppings and waffle chips Yummmm Every bite either had fudge or a miniature peanut butter cup or both. You just can't go wrong with adding peanut butter to pretty much anything. I recommend all three flavors and I will be ordering again.
They also make ice cream chocolate chunk cookie sandwiches. I did not order any but I did find out from Matt that they are recently in the Big Y near me, Middletown. I will be trying them soon.

These ice cream sandwiches can’t be beat… absolutely phenomenal. The owners Matt and Cristina are as nice as they come too, and they even have home delivery. If you see this truck, you have to stop!! Or better yet, order some for home!

Thanks for my Big Back BLUE CHIP Creamery. Lol I put the smack down on the Black Sheep. I didn't want to eat it all but it got to good. It was the perfect ratio of cookie VS ice-cream. If you could make it with mint ice cream You'll have a friend for life. Blue Chip found at City Fish.
