AMAZING. I saw a cake BBC made for a friend’s party, and it was so incredible and so delicious that I ordered the cake for my husband’s toga-themed birthday party from here. When the owner asked what I wanted, I told her to use her own creation, and I’m so glad I did. The cake was a true masterpiece with fig leaves, columns, frosting made to look like stone, and she even put his name on a plaque. It was a feast for the eyes, and all of our guests oohed and ahhed when they saw it. And it was DELICIOUS. I never saw a cake get devoured so quickly. There wasn’t a crumb left. This place will be our go-to for all of our occasions from now on. Simply amazing.

The most excellent bakery I’ve ever been to - we’ve ordered birthday cakes, just because desserts, and holiday ones - and everything has always been phenomenal. They’re incredibly clean inside, super friendly, and the desserts are always delicious. I cannot recommend enough for a reliable, awesome bakery.

My husband stopped in to see if they would be able to make individual molten lava cakes for my birthday as I was looking for something other than a cake or cupcakes this year. They advised it wasn’t part of their normal offerings but would try it out and make it happen. They were so accommodating to this very specific request and even gave him their pan to use as they couldn’t be baked ahead of schedule to achieve the gooey chocolate center. Hand written instructions were given and they came out exactly how I had hoped. The chocolate molten lava cakes were decadent and delicious and I couldn’t have been more thrilled with them.

We have gotten cupcakes and other treats from them before which were enjoyed. These molten lava cakes were a clear indication that Brown Butter will go above and beyond, if able. If you’re looking for a bakery who provides top notch service and flavor, you need to check out Brown Butter Creations!

If you’re looking for a dessert or treat with PHENOMENAL texture, taste and deliciousness, then you have found your bakery. Ordered a tiramisu cake and vanilla and chocolate cupcakes for a special occasion. Out of this world with flavor in all three desserts. Moist cake, wasn’t dry at all and tasted very fresh. I also purchased a chocolate chip cheesecake Sammy and it was amazing, even the next day , still amazing. I will be ordering again from this bakery.

I wanted a cake for my 50th birthday party as special as the milestone was for me. There is no one I would have trusted this with other than Marika and her team at Brown Butter. But when I tried to place the order, they were on vacation and returning the day of my party. I reached out and Marika said she had time to create my masterpiece as long as I could pick it up anytime after 1 p.m.

When I saw it, I couldn’t believe it. When my guests saw it, they were stunned. We ALMOST didn’t want to cut it - it was so beautifully done. I had mentioned that my party was going to be at a vineyard, so the cake dressed for the occasion

While there are so many flavor profiles to choose from, my absolute favorite at Brown Butter is their almond cupcake, so I chose that flavor for my cake and buttercream frosting. It was three layers of delicious magic.

I recently ordered a cake from Brown Butter Creations in Glastonbury, CT, and it was phenomenal! The cake was moist, flavorful, and rich with buttery goodness. They were great!!! I didn’t know exactly what I wanted my wedding cake to look like but they guided me with helpful questions, and it came out perfectly. They had trouble finding the flowers I’d asked for and called me to find out what I’d like to do instead, and I ended up bringing them flowers to use. The woman I spoke with was kind enough to insist at first that I just tell her where to find some and she’d get them as they’re included in the price of the cake. It was easier for me to get them and bring them so I still did that, but I appreciated that she was trying to help me!

Vegetarian options: So the cakes are all vegetarian but there was no option for putting that they have a lot of vegan-friendly flavors for their cakes/cupcakes. And they’re all delicious! I had several non-vegans tell me the vegan cake was their favorite of the 3 I had.

Got a cake for my birthday, never write bad reviews unless warranted but this thing is either undercooked or the hardest thing I've ever eaten. The dough is literally impossible to cut through. We took it out of the fridge and let it stand for 2 hours as advised

I had requested for custom golf cupcakes for my husband’s 30th. I sent in my request and inspiration photo and they gave me a quick reply! The bakery was so flexible with when I could pick them up. So professional too! And the presentation of the cupcakes were fantastic and exactly what I asked for BUT it was the flavor and taste that won everyone over. Probably the best tasting cupcake I’ve ever had. All our guests were raving about them. I can’t recommend this bakery enough!!

The pastries and cakes at this establishment is 10/10. I purchased two cakes for a baby shower at our church and for our son’s birthday and it was amazing!!! Brown butter creations matched the cake to the pictures we wanted. The best part of this whole process was the taste. Usually when I get specialized cakes the taste is sub par but the cakes are beautiful and delicious!!!!! Our family has found our pastry and party cake specialist for life!! Thank you so much.
