Worst service and most clueless employees of any Chipotle or restaurant for that matter, I’ve ever been to. 3 times in a row, same thing every time. Cell phone breaks and side conversations are more important here than the line of frustrated customers backing up and people leaving. Will not be going back

Tables were disgusting and dirty garbage was overflowing. From the trash cans walked up to order our food and the food bins were disgusting. It looked like goop scoop.

Restaurant tables and floors dirty at 221pm. Food in bins looks like it's been sitting there and should get tossed as it is not looking fresh.

Ordered a steak bowl and barely got any white rice or steak just a lot of lettuce, a dab of sour cream and LOTS of corn smh. So disappointed this is the second time. And the rice they did add was hard balls mushed together

Went tonight and the staff was completely overwhelmed. Trash cans overflowing, all tables dirty, kitchen was a disaster, and a long wait for both in person order and pick up. My order was 10 min behind. The staff was trying, but you could tell that they were tired and understaffed. I saw the hiring sign, and they definitely need it. The food in general has gone downhill after 2020. I used to go at least once a week. Now every time I go it’s a gamble on if it will be up to par or not. Really unfortunate.

*And I did reach out, and a refund was not offered. Just a “we’re sorry, we will tell management.”

The Chipotle in Glastonbury CT SHOULD CLOSE daily at 5 PM.
¿ Why ? Because after 5 PM they apparently have very little food left to sell. Whenever I go after 5 PM the ingredients are SCARCE - carnitas usually consist of brown water and a few strands of pork, chicken and beef are totally dried out, unappetizing and hard (if there is any left), pinto beans - same thing - a dried out pan with NO beans - the server goes somewhere out of sight to get a scooper of lukewarm beans; the sauteed onions and peppers were NOWHERE to be seen - NONE, and no substitute was offered. Servers look tired, stressed, and eager to go home after 5.
Then, another strange thing with Chipotle "bowl" servings. The "bowl" consists of an oval aluminum pan and an oval cardboard "pan". Logic would say - put the aluminum pan ON THE BOTTOM and serve the meal into it (it doesn't leak, keeps food warmer - so this makes sense, it's also the way Chipotle USED TO serve the bowls) Then they'd cover it with a cardboard lid. Then some brain at Chipotle decided that it was preferable to serve the hot, wet, sometimes steamy, food INTO THE CARDBOARD and then cover it with an aluminum lid. THIS MAKES NO SENSE. The food usually leaks through the cardboard bottom, soils the table, and looks like a slop house serving.

I walked in today at 2pm and there was not any veggies available. I asked the manager if there was any coming up soon and he said no! This is so pathetic. The store in Manchester is horrible and now the Glastonbury store can join that terrible team. Sauted veggies are a very important feature, then an employee asked if I wanted lettuce? ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!! They should think of closing Chipotle, the service in both stores are continually going down hill!!!
It’s a shame, the food used to be very good, but the people that work there just don’t care, so now neither do I!!!!
I can’t go back and be disappointed again!!!!!

Usually this place is decent. But today, 2/23/2025 management must have been out of town. Dining are and beverage area were a complete disaster. Bathrooms were utterly disgusting. Customers were heard complaining. Management needs to do better!

I had ordered a steak burrito bowl. The ingredients were fresh with a plentiful portion and the chips and queso were very good as well.

Vegetarian options: Sofritas is a good meat alternative protein.

Why open at 10:45 if you aren’t going to serve people and are still prepping? Used to be my favorite chipotle. Service is awful, the number of workers they have and to not move through the in person ordering faster is inexcusable. Management failure.

Taste is desent NOT ALL THE TIME, atmosphere feels heavy, tense, service I think either they don't make enough or the employees may be over worked cause they always in a bad mod. Awful place to spend such an important part of my day.
