Got an attitude when I mentioned it so why ruin someone else’s day since they didn’t give me another one. During the time I was eating the icecream. The whole thing fell apart and melted right off the cone. Waste of money and time. Went to call and got sent to voicemail each time.

I called this Dairy Queen to see if they were hiring in 2022 sure enough they scheduled me for 2 interviews and basically ended up hiring me. Manager told me to go there on a Sunday around 5pm so he could train me and show me around. I got there on time and waited for the manager to come out and when he did he basically told me I came there for no reason because it apparently was dead and there was nothing for him to show me.. which I found ridiculous because here I am taking time out of my day driving to another town just to be told that there was absolutely nothing to show me as If he couldn't have CALLED me before I wasted my time and gas it felt as if almost he forgot I was coming. This was a red flag from the beginning cus no professional workplace would tell an employee they just hired to come down and get some training and then send them home.. he could've showed me how to work the ice cream machines and much more but just didn't want to. I was pretty upset about this but still excited to work there the first day I was training I barely got to do anything to learn because the employee kept making all the blizzards, cones, banana splits while I basically just sat and watched the next day was not terrible but they just sat me at the front to play around with the training page even though there was almost 0 customers coming through the front they all were going to the drive thru but they didn't put me on drive thru orders until it started to slow down which I can understand. They basically had me standing at the front of the store not doing much and it was very boring they gave me a broom and wanted me to sweep and mop which is something lousy jobs usually have the trainees do because they don't feel like doing it. Any ways that was my last day at the job because I guess they felt that they had too many trainees and needed to get rid of one.. so basically worked there 2 days and got let go and I was disgusted because if they already had people they hired why hire another person make them fill out all this paperwork drive there that many times and then let them go?? They completely wasted my time this is most definitely one of the worst locations in the area.

10-11-23 4:35pmWent through the drive thru, only one in line and after I get my food I park and realized they forgot they toast, circled back around and asked for it because it’s supposed to come with it. No issue giving it to me but the girl on headset mocked me for saying thank you, bet she didn’t expect me to hear it. Some people should stick to jobs that don’t involve being around people, especially if they mock someone for being nice and polite.

Extremely expensive and horrible service. Rudest people ever and highly stuck up, Went there a few times and they only got the order correct once. They make mistakes on the order and just don't care. They need a strong manager that cares and is willing to turn this place around. The prices are high and a rip off for what you get.Any place is better than here.

If you can, go to the Manchester one. When your paying 8 dollars for a blizzard it's already outrageous, but to have it be served melted makes it worse. I've never had a problem at the Manchester one. However I have noticed with this one of you order on the app sometimes they stick it in the freezer so take note of that.

Went through five through at 4:30pm. Very nice gentleman that was working. Fast service and good food. I always seem to forget about this place when thinking of getting something to eat but it is probably because it's so expensive. I got a 4 piece chicken with fries and a medium blizzard. I paid with a 20 and got back a dollar! I work in East Hartford but since this is right off the highway, it only takes about 5 minutes to get here from main St in East Hartford.

MANCHESTER DQ IS TOP TIER!!! Went for the first time tonight to Glastonbury. I live in Glastonbury and always prefer the Manchester one for this main reason - They actually give me a lot of pieces/toppings in the blizzards. I had a medium blizzard with cheesecake pieces and cookie dough... well that's what I asked for. What I received was 2 tiny pieces of cheesecake and peanut butter cups instead. I was digging for cheesecake pieces!! WHERE ARE THE TOPPINGS I ASKED FOR???!!! Also - the pup cups are tiny. Manchester gives you a medium sized tray/dish with a lid and I literally got handed a 5oz Dixie cup with ice cream...
