J. Gilbert's Wood-Fired Steaks & Seafood Glastonbury

Kyle was our waiter and he was the most fun and entertaining and knowledgeable waiter. He was very attentive and made suggestions and was just so happy and made our experience so much fun!! I definitely would want him again as our waiter. There was no pressure to eat and run or hurry up and order. He was just so positive and happy.

We haven't eating at Gilbert's for years and the food is generally very good. Over the last few years the prices have risen dramatically and portion sizes on some items have definitely gotten smaller. I had a piece of chili and Seabass that couldn't have been 4 ounces and it was $50. I actually left hungry. Everything else was fine but what we paid for our meals versus the size it wasn't there.

As usual our meals were excellent. Our server Kyle went above and beyond to make the whole experience great. We highly recommend J Gilberts.

We went to J.Gilberts for my birthday. 🎂 This isn't our first visit. We come here a few times in the year... special occasions. Once again, we had a great experience with delicious food and excellent service. Our serve name was Jacklyn as known as Jack. She was wonderful and so nice and very genuine. She smiled every time she spoke. 😊 She had so much knowledge about food drinks, and desserts. Jacklyn went above and beyond. 🙌🏽 Thank you Jacklyn. We love J. Gilbert's ❤️☺️

Wonderful food. They're always busy. Great presentation and it was a members birthday and they were very nice in setting a festive table.

We always come to J. Gilbert's for special occasion dinners. We have never been disappointed in the food or the service. It's a wonderful place.

The food is always prepared tomorrow liking and very flavorful. Our waiter, Abraham, was simple outstanding!!! He was personable, pleasant, professional, thoughtful, and attentive. I made a point to tell the manager, and I hope he relayed the message.

Celebrated my husband's birthday . Our waiter Don was absolutely amazing and provided a wonderful experience.

The food, as always is delicious. I enjoyed the Surf and Turf as well as the cauliflower au gratin. Our server Jaqueline was great!

Always enjoy J Gilberts. My wife could not stop raving about the new seared scallop dish and the new French onion soup, shrimp cocktail and crème brûlée are quite possibly the best I have ever had.

We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary and the dinner was great. Thank you for a another night to remember!

Our server was awesome. The steaks and Mac and cheese delicious. I love the atmosphere. The new 7 layer cake is not as good as the previous chocolate cake with raspberries.
