Another amazing meal. Instead of salad, we tried the calamari appetizer, and were thrilled with this. Fresh, tasty calamari, with your choice of dips. My wife ordered the salmon, and was pleased with that as well as the asparagus. We both thought the mashed potatoes were off a bit, nothing bad, just not exceptional. My ribs were meaty, juicy and flavorful, with enough for a second meal at home. And my creamed corn with bacon was stellar. No room for dessert, but a great meal....
Our waitperson Norah was terrific. It was our first time there and she helped to make the evening great. She knew the menu and was able to answer all of our questions. We love the restaurant and we'll certainly return.
My spouse and I have eaten at many fine steak restaurants and at the high price being charged I was hoping for a stellar experience. The service was very good. I found the steak served to be uninspiring and more like one would get at a "family style" restaurant. It was a ribeye about a 1/2 inch thick and had little marbling that I could discern; a little chewy. The restaurant was very busy mid-week, on the noisy side, and is obviously popular, but I don't think...
