I've been to other Whole Foods and find this one to be just okay. Keeping up with the continued online shopping that began during the pandemic, it seems this Whole Foods has snubbed its store shoppers - for online shoppers. As employees are filling carts and bags for online shoppers, they fill the aisles and are in too much of a hurry to be considerate of store shoppers. I found going early in the morning - particularly early in week, is marred with frustration. Shelves are bare and angling around shelves being restocked and online shopping orders - is like navigating a maze. Can shelves not be stocked in the morning before the store opens? Other Whole Foods have stations where you can sample different fruits and vegetables you've never tried. They have employee favorite nights, and local vendor nights. This Whole Foods? Nothing. Sure, there were some events prior to the pandemic but I found nothing of interest. I continue to shop here because ... well, in spite of it all ...it's Whole Foods. But if something similar comes along in town (and eventually it will), I'll be happy to leave this frustration behind.

Having been to several Whole Foods, both in and out of CT, I can say this one is Hartford's best. The hot and cold buffet selections are fresh and offer a huge selection. Their coffee bar is never too busy either and there is plenty of seating for diners.

OK, I know this is a Whole Foods and it's mostly known for high-end groceries, but they have good deals hot and cold takeout food options as well. They have a nice buffet with a lot of variety and plenty of seating, as well as cooked food to go. They also have good Thanksgiving meals if you're hosting/don't want to cook everything. I sometimes come here, buy coffee and a snack, and work for a bit. I actually prefer coming to this Whole Foods over the Blue Back Square location in West Hartford because they have more seating and it's a bit less cramped. They have free WiFi for two hours. It can get pretty busy during holiday season, so plan accordingly.

Generally a fun shop. A diverse inventory, both standard and ever changing. On the 'whole', customer service couldn't be more obliging. Staff helpful. Cheese counter personnel are good natured with a modest inventory of yummy local and international items. Fabulous aisle for teas, although not quite as thrilled with their prepared tea service counter. Nice fishmongers but choices are not always optimal as they've changed over to more prepared fish items. A fish lover, I am happy when they feature halibut or Coho salmon and bass, for example. As I am not a shellfish buyer, I do find myself walking away on the occasion, when FRESH RAW FISH is either not tempting or there are less options. Not a huge store but packs lots in so aisles can be difficult to negotiate. A small section devoted to natural potions & lotions because of store's physical space. Fun chocolate choices within means Love my CHOCOLOVE. Produce area is always filled with goodies for the NUT, LEAF & FRUIT CONSCIOUS. Good veggie choices and super microgreens. Their bakery is vast & appealing but not always as palate-yummy as presentation. Still it's one of the only bake shops in Glastonbury offering handsome pastries, cakes, and good breads, so wishing them continued success. Admirable specials, especially for Prime Members, and store brand products can surprisingly make shopping here equally as budget conscious as many well-known local chain supermarkets. But then again it depends on the choices that we make.

Whole Foods is offering a great deal on pizza. Order 2 large pizzas with your choice of toppings, for $24. A very good value! Pizzas were hot and delicious.
