I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. I have eaten here for Valentine's and my wife's birthday. In each case the staff was cordial, they were all focused on providing the best experience. The food was great- appetizers, entrees and desserts in each case. Cocktails were also solid. If you are looking for a great dining experience I would highly recommended

Fantastic experience. They just launched a brunch menu for Saturday and Sundays, which we ordered from. The service was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was impressive. Their drinks menu was inventive, and I had the Red Fox Martini which was delicious. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms, which was the best I've ever had in my life bar none. The dishes were delicous and looked beautiful. I will absolutely be back, this is a hidden gem for sure.
The NY calamari was fantastic, steak was very good, mashed potatoes were dry, the bernaise sauce was awful. Server was friendly and funny. When my husband's rib eye steak came out the server prepared it on the cast iron, unfortunately it splashed all over my husband's shirt. Overall a lot if good qualities but not as polished/professional as a streak house should be.
So, so good! Everything we ordered was amazing, so fresh and the presentation was impressive. Service was top notch, and the chef came to our table to check on our food! I can’t wait to go back!
We celebrated my husband's 74th birthday last night. It was our first visit to this restaurant. The staff gave him a wonderful birthday experience. They were all so friendly and attentive. Justin made sure that everything was perfect. Our seats, the food, the drinks, and most of all the conversation. It was a perfect birthday for him. Thank you, Justin.

We had a delightful and delicious dinner tonight, and would definitely return. Our meals were not only delicious but the presentation of each course was artistically arranged on the plate. My stacked beet salad was artfully presented and as delicious as it looked, and my stuffed chicken breast was juicy, savory and simply sublime. Our server was terrific - very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. This is a hidden gem in Glastonbury, and I highly recommend it.

So please tell me how I ordered and made requests was assured I was heard. Asked again when I got there was given my bag of food which was supposed to be two bags and on my way to my car the bag broke. So there goes my soda in a soup container all over the place and my food I just picked up. I asked that my bread be placed separately and my ice cream from my hot food wasn't. It's so incredibly inconsistent these last weeks I start to wonder if anyone cares.

Restaurant is a little hard to find as it is located inside of a complex. Ambience is as the only thing nice about this restaurant. Waitress didn't know the menu and seemed confused as we placed our order. Timing on food was good but that is likely because there were no more than three other tables with people at the restaurant which is not a good sign at 7pm on a Sunday. My husband ordered a filet mignon cooked medium and got it well done. It was supposed to come with roasted potatoes which was already weird but ended up coming with overcooked potatoes that looked and tasted like homefries. My mom and i ordered the shrimp parmesan which was delicious but the linguini pasta was not fettucini and instead was pappardelle and very thick which we didn't eat. Dad had chicken picatta dish that he enjoyed. It was my parents anniversary and i did mention it in my reservation so i was disappointed that nothing was even mentioned about it. I love Red Fox in Middletown but won't be coming back to this one.
There was a language barrior with some of the waitstaff, but the service was accommodating .The appetizers were very good,as was the dessert The main course meals were very disappointing .Tasted like food you would get at a diner, very plain.
Everything was flavorful and delicious! We were all very pleased with our entrees. We ordered the lasagna, the eggplant rollantini and the 40-ounce dry aged porterhouse for 2 with 3 sides. Three of us tasted the porterhouse and agreed that it was prepared perfectly, slightly more rare than medium rare, moist and superbly seasoned. I ordered the eggplant rollantini and was somewhat trepidatious because, after all, this is a steakhouse, but I couldn't stop raving about how delicious it was! The serving was generous and it came with a side of al dente fettuccine, with amazing tomato sauce/gravy. Everyone was pleased with their drinks; however, I will note that my cosmopolitan was too strong for me, so I ended up ordering a glass of the house Pinot Noir to go with my eggplant rollantini, which complemented it perfectly. Since not many diners would complain about a drink being too strong (yes, I'm a lightweight), no one should think twice about dining at Red Fox to enjoy their excellent food!!
