100% one of the best mexican restaurants in the state. The margs and tacos are special.Be prepared to wait a long while to get a table regardless of when you go (they don't take reservations)

Let’s be honest there’s no restaurant that touches Sayulita. I run a restaurant in the north end of Boston and every time I go home to see the parents in south Glastonbury I have to stop in to see Josh. Tonight we came in and waited at the bar before we were seated at our table. My mom had the blood orange margarita which was so delicious I almost drank half of it. When seated in the dining room we were greeted by Vicky our server who has been working there for more than 7 years and boy could you tell. She knew everything about the menu and even recommended some fan favorites like Bavette Steak with the Yukon potato’s and which we obviously had to order and was amazing. If you’re looking for a restaurant in the greater Hartford area with amazing drinks, food and staff you need to come here.

The best Mexican food hands down. Wait is always crazy insane, wish they had more tables. But it’s one of the only places I find is worth the wait!! So good.

We've only been here three times since they opened because they're always packed and I can see why. The food was incredible - unexpectedly, twice, my favorite taco was the vegetarian one. Their drinks, apps, and desserts are also phenomenal. Our wait person was fantastic to boot - 10/10 will try to squeeze in to the packed house again!

Went here recently for a friend’s birthday and all around a truly phenomenal dining experience. Abbey, at the bar, was fast, fun and friendly and our server, Nate, was one of the best we have ever had. The food was great, the service was even better; can’t say enough good things about this place.

Hi Im A Flying Person

I came here last month with my boyfriend and hos family. We went on a Sunday afternoon. They weren’t even open yet and the line was out the door! Since there were 6 of us, we had to wait a little bit to be sat. It didn’t take too long since we got there when they opened. They were pretty busy so it took awhile for our food to come out. We got chips, salsa and guac to start (fyi, they’re not free). I’m normally not a fan of guacamole but their’s was really good. The salsa wasn’t great though, it needed more spice. My boyfriend and I ordered the birria quesadilla, his family ordered fish tacos, chicken fajita, shrimp taco and burritos. They also had some margaritas and they liked them. The food was really good. My birria quesadilla had a good cheese and meat ratio, I got the best of both worlds. Definitely worth the wait.My boyfriend’s mom was telling me that one time she came here on a weeknight and the wait was over an hour. So if you want to go here I would definitely try and go here right when it opens to avoid the long wait. They don’t take reservations.

Went with a friend on National Margarita Day. Food, Drinks & Service was amazing. I will be returning to try the patio when it gets warmer.

I'm sure it's a great place because it's always packed, but we've tried getting in on a number of occasions and can't seem to find the magic password in haha. Weekdays, early in the afternoon on weekends, and we just can't get a table without waiting 3 hours. Today (Saturday) it was a 1 1/2 hour wait at 4pm and of course we weren't going to stay. We give up, but are jealous of folks who can make it past the doors.

A review from a Texan and a Tejana: it's probably the best Mexican food you can get in Connecticut. We ordered the chicken and steak fajitas which came with a huge portion of vegetables and three flour tortillas. The chips and salsa combo with guac and queso was great.Come prepared to wait for seating, and don't come with large parties unless you want to wait forever or split up into groups of 4/5.I recommend showing up before the place opens to get in first. We arrived at 12:40 on Sunday and were seated immediately at 1 when they opened.

Delicious Mexican food! We ordered takeout and it held pretty well. The birria quesadilla was very thick and held substantial meat, with a fair amount of cheese. It was pretty crispy and not droopy at all. Also got the fajitas, lots of veggies included but nothing crazy. The ceviche was very good, it was made with scallop. The chocolate flan was also a nice final touch, sweet and salty with a good kick of cinnamon. Overall above average Mexican food. The line inside was also pretty long so fyi.

Fun place, great food and margaritas! Highly recommend the lobster enchiladas and spicy margarita. The question and guacamole were yummy, too.

One of my absolute favorites!! The food and the margaritas are amazing. Last night I had steak fajitas. The seasoning on the steak is one of a kind.

This is one of our top 5 places to eat. Never have we had a bad meal. I love the margaritas, the food is fresh, and the portions are great.
