Added an unauthorized tip to my card upon payment. Save yourself the trouble. Staff was rude from the start. The food was fine, but I would have chosen mid-level food with good service over that.

SGB stands out for their creative menu and amazing staff. One of our all time favorite small businesses in CT!

Definitely worth the trip here for breakfast before grocery shopping at Whole Foods right after breakfast as its just a minute ride from The Spicy Green Bean:) Fantastic coffees and breakfast specials, high quality foods ,impeccable dishes and service, our waitress was outstanding! Highly recommend this spot :)😋

We went for brunch for the first time. The menu is creative and the ambiance is fun and quirky. The food itself was pretty tasty and portion sizes were good in general. My complaints come in with my meal; I got the breakfast tacos and asked for them vegetarian (taking the 2 meats off), which left them pretty scarce. It didn’t seem that they compensated by adding more of the other fillings and I wasn’t offered a substitution of avocado, etc. We were still charged the same amount, which was expensive. My other complaint was the really terrible drip coffee. It’s that standard super weak “dirty water” diner coffee that a lot of people loathe. I suggest switching to a bolder, more flavorful coffee as this is make or break for a lot of people. I definitely would return again, but there is room for improvement.

This is a great cute little queer friendly bar. I had a lesbian meetup here. I didn’t have any food or drinks but my friends said they’re both great. Will definitely come back for more lesbian events or maybe bring a date by.

Cute venue and nicely decorated. Waitress wasn't very friendly. Food was like warm at best and pancakes weren't cooked all the way through. Definitely had potential though. Creative menu.

Food was absolutely incredible, as was the mimosa. Service was decent but was lacking in visits during the meal. Atmosphere was politically charged and left wanting. Keep identitt politics out of food. There's zero point, and I promise you, you'd get more visitors if you catered to all.

Cool vibe , decent food. Horrible service! Waited forever for food and drink. Server looked at our table and never asked questions.

The most perfect brunch spot! The staff is very friendly, the drinks are good, and the food was delicious! My husband and I split the chicken in a biscuit, and it was super tasty. We also had a side of kielbasa, which is from a local vendor, and we loved it. If we ever find ourselves in the area again, we will definitely come back here!
