I have been going to this fair since I was a little girl. I have gotten to take my son through his childhood and as an adult. It is one of my favorite agricultural fairs in CT. The animals are always lovely, and people will let you pet them. One lady even asked if I wanted to brush a cow! That was so awesome. The fair food has the standards you would expect. The apple fritters are what we go for though. Overall, this is a great family-friendly fair that is a must go, in my opinion.
This is a wonderful agri fair held over Labor Day weekend each year. Located in the bottom of the Berkshires, this is a true taste of old New England. Community and kids are at the heart of this fair. I highly recommend it.
The fair itself is very fun, great booths, food, drinks and shops, but it gets VERY crowded, mad ethe mistake of not showing up earlier in the day and you get stuck in a huge line, and head to find a parking spot, but it goes to show how many people enjoy this, just show up earlier for the best experience, everything else is amazing.
