Applausi is the best Italian restaurant in Old Greenwich, it's probably the best restaurant of all genres in all of Greenwich.

Applausi is a local treasure with amazing food prepared and served with love and care. No wonder locals are regulars and newbies come back often. I love the grilled ceasar, all pastas and the tiramisu is pure bliss!

GREAT RESTAURANT WITH WONDERFUL RED SAUCE ITALIAN FOOD. WE HAVE BEEN THERE MANY TIMES AND EACH TIME IT REMAINS CONSTANT AND DELICIOUS. GOOD WINE LIST AND GREAT FOOD MAKE FOR A WONDERFUL MEAL.

Food was great. My friends from Long Island thought the food was outstanding and we've hit all the local restaurants over the years.

This is our favorite neighborhood restaurant and we dine out frequently. Fabulous warm staff, excellent food on every menu.

LOVE Applausi! Always treated as family when we go. We enjoy bringing friends there for a first time experience. During the warmer weather sitting outside on the back patio is a wonderful option. Food, service, dessert, drinks all top-notch!

Consistently great! Love, love, love the pork chop! Veteran wait staff. Better food than Valbella although less specials and less of a “scene”.

Took my wife here for the first time and we loved the place great environment. Food was delicious and very friendly staff. Definitely coming back again and telling all my family and friends to come check it out.

3.5 - Quirky decor with tongue-in-cheek rules about how to eat pasta, awesome back patio area. The Vodka-based pasta was amazing but the Cacio e Pepe lacked flavor and cheese. It was prepared at the table in a large wheel of parm but… tasted like buttered noodles. Service was friendly but slow for a weeknight, dinner took 2 hours.

Spectacular landmark local Italian restaurant, beloved by locals and visitors alike, run by the Marchetti family. Reasonably priced menu and wine list with impeccable and friendly service.
