I don't always leave reviews but when I do it's normally bc my experience was so amazing. I have gone to this bakery many times & the next experience is always better than the last. I love all their baked goods from the cookies to the muffins and the cakes. But this experience I have to shout out Jena from the kitchen part of the bakery. Not only was she so kind so patient and so understand. But she was sweet and made the experience so much better. This is by far my favorite bakery and they have a customer for life I tell everyone I know how amazing they are. I mean gluten free and dairy free with all the taste and cakes are moist and delicious. I don't even have any allergies to gluten or dairy, but this is the bakery for me. By the way bakery, you guys are amazing. Can't thank you enough for making every experience there phenomenal.

My daughter ordered a carrot cake for my birthday this week we picked it up today 10/11 from Greenwich location I’m sorry to say the cake was dry, it did have a nice spice as advertised the frosting was overly sweet I was so disappointed especially given the cost! I’m returning to the store tomorrow with 3/4 of the uneaten cake and hopefully will get a refund. We have bought items from here previously but not for some time (I’ve purchased their chocolate & coconut cake frozen from Whole Foods @ $22.99) and had no complaints!

Very yummy lemon poppy pastry. Wish it wasn't so expensive though. $4 would be more reasonable.
4 stars for good pastries (not great) but I would give only 3 for value. Scones are too expensive

Wonderful bakery with a variety of options for pastries and cakes. You can’t even tell their goods are dairy and gluten free. They are delicious!

I LOVE BTW bakery! The food is AMAZING.
BUT: The worker in the Greenwich location was stone faced and rude. He made us feel as if we were bothering him that we were there. Idk if he was having a bad day but we didn’t feel comfortable being there. Workers like him mess up the whole vibe and image.

Stopped in this bakery while walking by. Tried the cupcakes one chocolate vanilla and one vanilla chocolate. Cupcakes were delicious. The batter of the cake fulfilling very tasty and spongy inside and a nice slightly crisp texture on top . Buttercream cream frosting was delicious and not overly sweet or was it too bland. It was just right and delicious. The bakery seems to put the proper time and effort into their specialties . Two thumbs w 👍👍

Unfriendly and inhospitable staff that made you feel they were doing you a favour when serving you. Uneventful and expensive food

We ordered two cakes from the By The Way Bakery in Greenwich CT for our twins 2nd bday party. The customer service was top notch. They accommodated our budget and provided us with exactly what we needed at a reasonable cost. I would use them every time. Also, their cakes are delicious!

I really wanted to like this bakery but left unimpressed. 5 items for $27ish. The two stars are for the tasty chocolate cookie and brownie. The scone and carrot bundtlette were incredibly dry and bland. A bundt should be so far on the other side of dry. We left them uneaten. The pecan bar was below average. All compounded by the hefty price tag. One of the workers was pretty unfriendly- perhaps just having a bad day.

Not an eat-in bakery, but just fine for picking things up and taking them out. Some things are absolutely magical, other things were unfortunately dry. The staff on this visit was very pleasant and helpful. The almond cookies are amazing. They used to sell a cinnamon coffee streusel cake that was simply divine but sadly have stopped making it.

The cakes are delicious, but they mixed up our order once. Double check that you are getting what you paid for.
