Pretty pricey but great food!
Very popular place for its wide choice of excellent quality products. However, there is a lack of typical ITALIAN products which for me are the top of the top in world gastronomy.
Beware of the soup at the self serve station. I thought it was a big piece of pepper or carrot but I was surprised to see a gigantic piece of plastic in my lentil soup. I used to get this at least twice a week for my pregnancy cravings, so disgusted and disappointed. Also the meat there is not fresh (brown and smelly) we no longer purchase meat there anymore sadly.

Great food high prices alot of yuppies
The majority of the store is on violation of consumer policy protections by not displaying prices for products. I don't care if this store is in affluent Greenwich. They are not above the law. When I asked the price of a product, I was told, "expensive". Hahaha. No. My coffee was $2, and flavorless.
Nice atmosphere but very over priced for common items and service people need to be intercepted between jobs. They are all walking around self absorbed in their tasks and not looking to be helpful. The store is nothing more.than a Greenwich status icon.

Very good food and delicious varieties..
Enjoyable, excellent selection. Even for Greenwich, the prices are very high but you are getting premium products and assortment. Difficult parking (lines are just too tight and patrons just aren’t careful; I rarely feel safe walking thru the small lot)
