The food was bad. The roasted potatoes were really good but everything else was so bad. Anything with lemon was way too lemon-y so it felt like I licked a citrus and any protein was so absurdly dry. I understand they were closing within the next hour or so, but if the chicken and pork were literally hard as a rock. I slammed it on the table a few times and it was in the same solid, dry condition. That chicken must have been there for a week with how dry it was… expensive for mid food. I wouldn’t go back.

Cool place, temporarily staying nearby. Lots of interesting specialty items, but I shop here occasionally for produce and yogurt mostly, a little too expensive for almost everything else than I'm willing to pay. Super fresh, beautiful produce!!

The Greenwich store is train-wreck. Employees at the register behave bad the manger ,eve is awful and unprofessional talking to customers like garbage and store manager Amilia is mean and condescending and does not know what is customer service. They are happy that I spend every week $200 but when you need help or have an issue immediately they are being dismissive and rude.

I work right next door so i frequent this place because it's convenient. If you are going to order a sandwich from the counter, give yourself at least 25 minutes to wait for it. Today i ordered a grilled chicken wrap and the chicken was ice cold. disgusting. Nothing they serve is fresh. just be aware . Overall, it's over priced, mediocre food at best. sorry Citarella! do better!

A cozy and amazing place to shop, plenty of good options, cheese and bakery are their strong suit. Love the place

I loved the Italian pizza section but am upset that the rolls are now limited to only Chicken Parmesan.

This has been one of the most expensive grocery stores I've been to but at least the food has been good! The fruit has always been fresh. I like the prepared foods including the soups. The meatballs are also really good. Never tried the butcher shop or the seafood shop. I like the variety of yogurt and cheese. And I love cheese! They gave a selection of other items for quick pickup. Their bakery items are also very good.

My son and I used to have dinner here regularly when he was younger. It had been a few years so we decided to grab some food from the buffet last night. I spent $43 on one salad, one small cup of soup, two chicken patties, a small pile of pasta, and a soda. I know Citarella is expensive, but that was ridiculous. it would’ve been worth it if it tasted extraordinary… But it was below average. My son’s food – the breaded, chicken fillets, and the pasta – we’re not edible. The chicken was dry and tasted like very old cooking oil. He couldn’t even cut it with a knife. The pasta lacked flavor. Tomato sauce was scant and uninspired. This is a decent enough store to fly by in a pinch for some unique groceries perhaps, if you don’t mind spending a lot, but for their buffet, not so much. The Whole Foods buffet is much better.
