I had extremely disappointing encounters with Glory Days in Greenwich—not once, but twice, on back-to-back days. On both occasions, I placed orders that were confirmed in writing. The first day, I arrived only to be told the order was never received.
Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I tried again the next day. This time, I even called ahead to confirm and was interrupted mid-sentence and told the order was already being made. When I arrived? Same story: “We never received it.”
Two separate orders. Two days in a row. Both confirmed. Both failed. Completely unacceptable and honestly disrespectful to customers’ time. Very disappointing. I won’t be returning.
We enjoy the food at Glory Days, but they have messed up delivery orders multiple times with no offer to remedy. They forgot full orders and did not offer any option to send out another delivery person. Their food is one of the best in person, but we will not order takeout again given their rude response to their own errors.
Nice little local diner was great food and quick service was great spot for breakfast. Only real issue was lack of parking only a small parking lot but street parking near by.
This has become a weekly stop. The prices are reasonable and the staff is nice! It’s family friendly and the food is good!
Love this dinner. Been a customer for over 20 years.

Food was subpar. Nothing to write home about but nothing to truly complain about. My complaint is with customer service. Our waitress never came and checked to see how we were doing. We waited a long time for our check. We left a hat behind. I immediately called as we live 3 hours away to see if they could hold it until we were able to have someone closer to pick it up. I was assured it would be on the rack in the back as I was rushed off the phone like the person answering the phone couldn’t be bothered to deal with this. It was my 7yr old daughter’s hat. Kids like to have their things. When our family was driving through again we called to make sure it was still there. No one could answer me and I was told I would receive a phone call back about it. 2 days later I called again after my family member stopped in and it wasn’t there and I never received the phone call back. So disappointed that I was lied to. I don’t do business with dishonest people.

This place was Glorious! We got into town a little late, so off to the diner it was! I was pleasantly surprised by the menu, the decor and the food. What a great experience and the prices were great.

The food was average diner food but the staff were incredibly rude. As we were trying to pay the man at the front desk yelled at us for our orders and when he realized he had the wrong tables order on his computer, instead of apologizing he kept yelling and rushing us. This was out of no where and completely unprompted. The waiter also never checked on us and slurred his words every time he spoke making it impossible to understand him.

In general my friend and I weren’t met with much hospitality. The host/waiter was extremely passive-aggressive and inattentive. Also at checkout he made a mistake with our table and then took his frustration out on us :/ plus the burger wasn’t that good ☹️ fries were tho ? leaving one star because the blueberry milkshake was fire
Kid-friendliness: Don’t take ur kids here waiter/guy at the front desk is mean ?

Its funny how the hospitality industry works and how "one little thing" can ruin a whole experience
While on a day trip with my husband we decided to look for a dinner where we could have a nice american breakfast: pancakes, waffles, some eggs and sausage, coffee... the usual.
So, we looked for options near where we were in Port Chester and decided to give this place a try, because it looked very nice on the pictures, it had pretty good reviews and its menu had exactly what were looking for.
The place was pretty neat, looked very nice and clean, the young girl who welcomed us and took us to our table was very nice and our waiter, whose name we cant remember, was super efficient!
The prices were very good, the service was really quick.
The food was perfect: I had a belgian waffle with syrup, scrambled eggs, bacon, cream cheese and a cup of hot chocolate - my husband had pancakes with scrambled eggs and sausages - we really enjoyed our breakfast.
Regarding the dining experience - the only part I disliked (obviously) was the fact that my glass of water had marks of red lipstick and I wasnt wearing any...
My review would have stayed there - this long ?
EXCEPT while on our way out, there was this slightly old woman (not sure if she was a host, manager or owner) with the young female host who had initally welcomed us - and she was saying bye to diners on their way out - and while I thought "oh wow how nice of them" and said "Thanks for all, have a good day!" after she had said bye to the family in front of us, she literally immediately shut her mouth and just gave me a look literally from head to toe with the most bitter face, as if we were maybe leaving without paying? ?
Considering we were not in bermudas or flip flops, we left a 20% or 25% tip, we literally had our breakfast and left right away, didnt even complain about the glass of water, because - hey, that could happen... ? I'm going to have to say I believe I experienced there discrimination for the first time? Her look was so rude and out of place - I just smiled in disbelief, because what was wrong with her face? Has this lady heard about the power of word of mouth...? Does she really think she can be this rude and people won't say a thing? ?
Anyway, I concluded maybe she hasnt gone far from around the corner... and maybe she hasnt really been exposed to different cultures... which could explain why someone would have such a bitter old face and act so ignorant
I really didnt take it personal or feel bad about her reaction, because this action only reflects on her, not on us ??♀️ BUT , really thought it was important to share for whatever it's worth.
In conclusion, great dining experience - wouldn't return just because of this
Last but not least, it's important to highlight the fact that I have never left a negative review like this one - not a fan of spreading negativity... BUT, like I said before... , really thought it was important to share, for whatever it's worth.

I’ve always had a specific diner growing up that I compare experience & atmosphere/food to all other diners to. Glory Days tops that diner. Vibes were great; everyone working there that my partner and I talked with were incredibly kind without us having to even ask for things. Great place. 13/10.
