Today we were there to get icecream for my 2 kids. My 5 year old was getting tissues from the tissue holder and it fell on her (it was above her head, she barely reached the tissues, so definitely couldn’t have pulled the actual tissue holder).. the tissue holder is fairly heavy and luckily it fell on her shoulder and not on her head.. and the girls at the counter there were pretty upset.. as if it was my 5 year old’s fault.. and then they mixed mint icecream with the Oreo ice cream that we had ordered.. when we wanted them to change it, they had a huge attitude!! These teenagers at the counter grossly lacked professionalism.

Love the ice cream here but they should update their hours on Google to show that they have closed for the season. Seems like this location is only open in the summer.

Like life within walking distance. Love supporting a local place but not grows old hoping you get someone who scoops full scoops vs the lame half scoops we got tonight. I get you were voted best local ice cream spot burning this town you can be on the high and drop to the low even after. After tonight I can see that happening. My kids love to scooter for ice cream but I’ve said for 2021 we are done. I’m mad. $17+ Dollars and they are both saying they didn’t get enough (not under age 10). Super lame. Cute teenaged in front of us - at least 8 of them - were eating outside on the benches complaining about the same lame portion sizes. Deciding maybe it’s worth the extra drive to Carvel.

My wife and I were dining outdoors at a nearby restaurant, and we kept seeing people walking by with ice cream cones. My wife checked her smartphone and discovered there was this ice cream shop just past the restaurant. We enjoyed our meal, but we craved ice cream, so we had our dessert at Gofer's. I had a handmade waffle cone with chocolate and black raspberry chip ice creams. Very yummy! Gofers had soft serve ice cream, ice cream cakes, ice cream quarts to go, and more. It was a popular place on a Saturday evening. It's well worth a visit.

Pretty much the only ice cream place in Darien, so you dont really have any choices. The ice cream is fine, not amazing. I actually miss the Baskin Robbins.
