First time actually visiting a Gofer ice cream shop location! I've had their hard ice cream and used a delivery service prior, but freshly scooped straight to into your hand is a better experience. Went on a Saturday night after date night dinner (in the dead of winter). A family friendly place for sure! Pro tip: order a banana split for two! 3 ice cream flavors including soft serve, 3 toppings, whipped cream, and cherries

Like life within walking distance. Love supporting a local place but not grows old hoping you get someone who scoops full scoops vs the lame half scoops we got tonight. I get you were voted best local ice cream spot burning this town you can be on the high and drop to the low even after. After tonight I can see that happening. My kids love to scooter for ice cream but I’ve said for 2021 we are done. I’m mad. $17+ Dollars and they are both saying they didn’t get enough (not under age 10). Super lame. Cute teenaged in front of us - at least 8 of them - were eating outside on the benches complaining about the same lame portion sizes. Deciding maybe it’s worth the extra drive to Carvel.

Love that I can walk to this spot in Cos Cob but just got home and declared we are taking a major break from ice cream night at Gofer. Paying $5+ dollars For 2 Scoops to basically get 1 barely full scoop is irritating. You may have recently been voted best ice cream spot but with serving sizes like to that you'll lose that title in a blink in this town. Loads of cute teenagers in line in front of us and every one of them made a similar comment on their scoop sizes - they were all outside on the bench talking about what a rip off and how the guy scooping is skimpy. Talks of Carvel being generous popped up. I'm out for a good long time. Spent $17 and my two kids under 10 have the feedback after this excursion "i got a baby size. I need more". Not cool. Your prices are semi high. I'm thrilled to support a local business but be fair. We go to pizza post next door 3x a week- happened to go 2x today- always fair. A half scoop for $5. Lame.

My wife and I were dining outdoors at a nearby restaurant, and we kept seeing people walking by with ice cream cones. My wife checked her smartphone and discovered there was this ice cream shop just past the restaurant. We enjoyed our meal, but we craved ice cream, so we had our dessert at Gofer's. I had a handmade waffle cone with chocolate and black raspberry chip ice creams. Very yummy! Gofers had soft serve ice cream, ice cream cakes, ice cream quarts to go, and more. It was a popular place on a Saturday evening. It's well worth a visit.

Pretty much the only ice cream place in Darien, so you dont really have any choices. The ice cream is fine, not amazing. I actually miss the Baskin Robbins.
