We keep trying to love this restaurant but it is extremely noisy if you sit inside. It seems they never attempted to do any sort of sound proofing to help mitigate this. We were lucky to get a table outside where it is quieter. The addition of the bar next store just adds to the noise. It was very crowded and it seemed the staff were a bit out of their element because of this. Our meal was fair: my husbands steak was not cooked to order at all and we decided not to send it back after seeing the same thing happen to the people at the next table. I think theirs never returned until one of them was finished! We took it home, will cook it further and make steak sandwiches. Our waiter was nice enough but could have been more attentive though with the crowds he was managing we aren't sure it was even possible. The prices are on the high side and we know this is a Greenwich staple but I don't think we will return.

I went with 4 friends to celebrate my birthday, food take so long and service was poor. And on top of that the tip of 21% was add it to the bill.

Food was disappointing - especially the mussels didn't taste fresh, pork chop was overcooked. They took these things off bill which was appreciated but disappointed about the food.

ordered lobster but didn't get it. dish came stacked with assorted fish. but no lobster. they conveniently left it out and hoped I wouldn't notice. never going back. and it's even worse at night. they are desperate for drunks so they blast music with the doors open on the street. noise pollution. someone close this place. the avenue is suffering with this trash on it.

Harvest has a nice atmosphere, unfortunately every dish we ordered had many flaws. The Boston Bib salad was heavily over dressed, Crispy artichokes were greasy and every bite of the Linguini vongole pasta had either sand or shell shards. The clams were very large and iI found cracked bits of shells in the pasta. I think the crunchiness of the pasta was from shells not sand.

This was a return visit, and the food was as delicious as ever. After a salad, we had pappardelle with shrimp and lobster and the halibut special. Generous portions and nice fresh seafood! The wines we selected by the glass were excellent, too. Overall, the staff was very pleasant and the food came out without a delay. I will definitely return. I always try to fit in a meal at Harvest when I'm in Greenwich.

The restaurant was so noisy. It was impossible to speak to the person sitting next to me let alone the people across from me. It’s a beautiful place, but don’t ever eat there. Food fair I had scallops. They were OK nothing special.

Drinks and food came out very slow even though we were seated before 6pm seems the guys standing at the front door were more interested in greeting women walking down the street then getting the restaurant to run smoothly

I was visiting from Palm Beach and stayed in Greenwich for 3 weeks. Dined at many fabulous restaurants to return to in future. Harvest wine bar & restaurant is the only restaurant in Greenwich that I would not come back to. We had a 630 reservation for 2 on July 17. Our server was incredibly rude and argumentative. We wanted 5-6 appetizers but as our table was small, we ordered them in pairs. He couldn’t keep it straight as to which 2 appetizers to bring out first. I told him we’d order 2 at a time but he insisted we give him all 6 and just tell him the order in which we wanted them served but after 3 failed attempts and him being continually confused, he reluctantly agreed to do 2 at a time. It was stressful from the outset. The salad was the only item we asked to split and his response was “it depends on how busy the chef is”. It was immediately obvious from his attitude that we wouldn’t be getting a split salad late. I have yet to dine at a restaurant at this price level that can’t even split the salad plate. Later, I ordered a 5th appetizer when he stopped by our table to clear out some items. He forgot and came by 15 minutes later asking if we were done. I reminder him if our pending order for the salmon tartare. He aggressively argued that I never told him to order the salmon tartare. When I pointed out to him that he forgot we ordered it, he argued that I placed the order with another server. Of course he was the only server who waited on us the entire time. He was arrogant, in denial of his mistakes and insisted on the blaming the customer. I later heard him arguing with another couple who got up and moved and then saw him arguing with a female server. This guy is overconfident without the ability to deliver, rude and very unprofessional. If the chef is so unaccomodating and inflexible as to refuse to split the salad plate, it’s no surprise that such an attitude trickles down to the other help including the servers. I left completely disgusted due to the lack of respect, professionalism and basic courtesies that are normally extended to human beings.

The place was very nice. Had a nice table outside. The food was good butbthe portions were very small. For the price we expected a little bigger portions. Service was ok not great.

Yummy

Ate outside as inside was very noisy. Shared a salad as an appetizer which was excellent. unfortunately the crab cake appetizer I had as my main course was very salty and deep fried not pan sautéed.others in our group enjoyed their entrees.

Nothing bad to say ever. If you're in CT you have to eat at one of these locations. Menu is extensive with all dishes exceeding expectations. Comfortable setting with great service and excellent food. Can't wait to come back for the Brussel Sprout salad!

Food was good. Service was lacking. We asked for no onions on one dish and that the dishes come one at a time. We received all the dishes at once and onions were included. Server disappeared for the rest of the time we there and when he appeared, was short with us and impatient with us. Will stick with sister restaurant Cava in New Canaan - better food and warm and friendly service.

The food was mediocre at best. A special occasion as noted on the reservation but no acknowledgement. There was not one member of our party who finished their meal. Much better restaurants in town.
