Food here is amazing. We ordered 4 or 5 different sushi rolls with some appetizers. Everything tasted fresh and was prepared swiftly. Recommend to anyone in the area who wants a nice dinner. However I would suggest getting a reservation in advance.

The service on Sunday, October 4th, was far below expectations. The first server, an Asian lady, was extremely rude and unprofessional—she abandoned our table without explanation. Another server eventually took over, but with an unfriendly attitude. When we mentioned that someone at the table had a shellfish allergy, the reaction was dismissive and careless. This level of service is completely unacceptable in any restaurant.

My favorite sushi spot of all time! Saturday nights are for Hinoki—the vibe, ambience, and service are always on point. Every single dish on the menu is delicious, and we find ourselves looking forward to the next visit the moment we leave. Some of my must-haves are the yellowtail jalapeño, chicken potstickers, fire ball roll, miso cod, and king salmon sushi. Truly unbeatable!

We came to Hinoki for the first time for dinner over the weekend and absolutely loved it.
Everything we ordered was delicious, from sushi tacos to other tasty bites. The fish was fresh and very high quality. Melt-in-your-mouth smooth!
The 4 sushi tacos we tried: * Hokkaido uni caviar - more expensive because they had uni from Hokkaido, but it was so delicious! * Salmon ikura - so smooth * Shiso squid - good, but I don't love mayo * Yellowtail avocado yuzu sauce - very refreshing, like a summer dessert
Other sushi and vegetables: * Toro scallion roll - not much scallion, but the toro was very plentiful and of high quality * Crispy cauliflower tempura - I'm not a cauliflower lover, but loved this dish! * Shishito peppers - good, healthy appetizer option
We dined outside because it was so nice out, but inside seating had a modern, upscale vibe, perfect for cooler days.
Highly recommend this Asian restaurant, if you're in Greenwich.

hinoki is one of my favorite spots for sushi in greenwich! the actual interior is so nice and the server’s i’ve had have always taken good care of me. sometimes the resturant gets super crowded at night so make sure to make a reservation if u are here especially if it’s a weekend!!! it’s a big space and the food can be pricey sometimes but for greenwich standards it’s nothing crazy out of budget. if you are looking to have a nice sushi meal i’d 100% recommend this place!

However, my waitress Veronica was absolutely amazing recommended this amazing drink called the purple haze phenomenal and then she recommended the sushi sashimi platter omg amazing, the Greenwich roll to die for. My new favorite sushi spot for sure.
