We love this place! Have been about 5 times and it is the best Italian food around. The best chicken parmesan which is always my favorite! The flatbreads are amazing, the cacio e pepe, filet mignon, bolognese, and so much more. I don't think there is a bad dish on their menu. Service is great as well and they have a live pianist at night which creates such a great ambience. Noah is our go-to bartender! Great selection of wines and cocktails. A must try!

I probably will not return. Used to go often when it was Centro's. This was my 4th or 5 th time there. Thus time it was not good. We waited almost 40 minutes for a panini and omelet. Requested salad with dressing on side. Came swimming in oil. Even getting the check wax z production. Staff talking to each other by the front and ignoring customers.

Well prepared, thoughtful, interestingly tweaked and wide-ranging dishes. Polite and (not overly) attentive service. Can't wait for warmer weather sitting outside over the waterfalls.

We had the most delicious dinner last night at Il Leone... everything was perfect! I had the chicken marsala special and my husband had the seafood liguine special.... outstanding! And we are foodies...the room is beautiful, the wait staff was attentive. It was a great date night :-)

Visited Il Leone for first time on Valentine's Day. They have a large and diverse menu which was nice to see, especially when many restaurants offer prix fixe menu only. For appetizers we had the baked clams and escargot which were tasty but small portions. For entree, my wife had Coq au vin which she greatly enjoyed. I had the Cavatelli with Broccoli rabe and Sausage which was also good. An enjoyable experience. Look forward to trying other offerings on the menu.

Loved the restaurant for dinner.. perfect setting and food was very good. Went back next day for lunch. I would stick to dinner. Lunch options were not plentiful and the price was quite high for lunch. Would absolutely go back again for dinner.

We had the best night out. The food and service was excellent, we enjoyed everything we ordered and the staff was very friendly. The performance that we got to enjoy by Yan on the piano was amazing, we felt like we were out at a concert. Thank you to all for a very memorable night.

We celebrated a birthday dinner at II Leone on a Thursday night in January. The atmosphere was warm and the piano entertainment was a surprise bonus. Our waiter Michael was wonderful. The perfect balance of being attentive but not annoying. Our appetizers and dinners were delicious. Entrees were a bit pricey but generous portions. The chocolate cake was decadent and was served with a birthday candle!

We were a table of 10 and our food took in excess of 1.5 hours to arrive. The waiter was very apologetic and did what he could. The manageress couldn’t be bothered to come to our table to apologise. We left immediately after eating.

We were able to make a reservation online at 9:30pm, there were later times available as well so we assumed it would be okay to arrive that late. When we walked in, we didn’t feel very welcomed. It said online they had live music on Thursdays, another reason we thought it would be a good place to go to later in the evening but there was no music and the server made us feel rushed, looked at us all the time while we ate and told us we had to order everything at once since the kitchen was closing. Dinner was very good otherwise, dessert could’ve been better.

I've been to many Italian restaurants in the U.S., Europe, and LATAM, and I think I found my favorite just down the road from my house in Greenwich, CT. The service was amazing thanks to our server Michael and the Manager. The food was delicious. I had the Penne a la Vodka with sausage and it was by far the best Penne a la Vodka I've ever had given the delicious sauce, sausage, and al dente pasta. For dessert, we had the chocolate mousse cake. To top it off, the live music provided some great ambience. They have an outside patio overlooking the river and waterfall, which must be great when it gets warmer. I'll definitely be back.

I have dined here a few times, and the food and service have always been outstanding. The piano playing in the bar area is a nice vibe. Valet parking makes it easy to access restaurant.

Biggest ripoff. My ravioli was salty and small portion. Charged R40 for extra salad dressing. Waitress useless and got drinks order wrong and rude to us. Very unimpressed
