By Far on of our favorite restaurants. The food is always amazing, and the service is top notch. Make a reservation, even for lunch, there's a reason why this spot is always busy.

Had lunch with a group of eight women on a busy afternoon the food was great. The staff was great. We had the lobster Cobb Salad, Steak Friettes and the special omelette. All very good. We brought Anna a cake for her birthday The staff was very accommodating. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Food was alright, I think it’s just a Greenwich glorified restaurant overall. The waiter I had was nice. But the lady that was walking around mumbled “wow he must be hungry” after I got served a filet and salmon dish. Yes I was hungry why is that any of your concern? I haven’t eaten all day if you care that much to know?

Bathroom: 4.5/5.
Wow the decor was super nice. Lots of cartoons to look at if you’re taking a shit or just peeing. However, there was some trash in the floor

Customer Service: 4.5/5.
Service was pretty good. They checked up on us, the owner was really fruity and friendly, and they frequently refilled my water cuz I was thirsty af. However, they did forget our bread at one point, but they realized and brought it out asap.

.
Lots of decorations, but i feel like the lighting was too moody and again it was super cramped in there so I had to touch my brother all night.

Food: 3.5/5.
Their choices for meat and cheese for the charcuterie board we got were questionable because they were kinda stinky. Furthermore, the mashed potato-like thingy that came with my scallops was a little bland. However, their vanilla crème brûlée was p unique and yummy!!

.
Didn’t wow me. Was a typical restaurant.

Jet engines are quieter than this place. The noise is off the charts. Tables are squeezed together. A thoroughly unpleasant experience.

Disgusted and very disappointed.
Wow. Where do I start? My wife and our our of state guest just had the worst experience imaginable at Le Penguin.
The rude dismissive waiter demanded that all orders (starters+maincourse) be placed immidiately, not to waist his time and also added there would be no possibility to add to the order at a later stage.
This caused a conversation with management who outdid his waitstaff by being even more abrasive with an even more dismissive and derogatory manner toward my wife and our out of state guest, by refusing to address the circumstance and insisting that the wait staff acted appropriately.
Refusing to address the situation at all or offer any means of correcting the poor treatment.
This institution and it's staff are a poor reflection on our town and on all of us in Greenwich. We live within walking distance to Le Penguin and would frequent it and the sister restaurant Siren in old Greenwich.
Do yourself a favor and give these restaurants a pass. Go somewhere where your patronage is appreciated.

Very rude customer service. We ordered starters, as weren’t sure what to order next, wait and see what else we would like and the waiter’s response was that we can only order once. And once the order is placed that’s all we get. Soup nazi in Greenwich??? When manager was called, he said- that’s what the chef instructs waiters to do. Not a single apology from anyone.
Disgusted by the service, we didn’t even finish our food.
We live walking distance and used to frequent the place (as well as affiliated Siren after a day at the beach), but obviously will not come back to either one.

We came here on a late summer Sunday evening to celebrate a family birthday. This is a wonderful restaurant with a warm atmosphere, caring waitstaff and delicious food. We had moules marinere, ravioli, boulibaise and steak...all were tasty and artfully served...as an important side bar the restrooms are super clean and modern. This is a fine restaurant and if you are in the Greenwich art consider coming here... you won't be disappointed!
