We love L'Escale! The chef is a master at creating inspired dishes. The food is always great. The service is friendly and professional. Everyone tries to make sure you have a good time. They always accommodate special requests. We will be back soonW
My wife and I have been to the restaurant a number of times, mostly in the spring and summer to enjoy the patio, but this time we went during corkage free November to have a wine that we were saving for a special occasion. The staff was wonderful and the wine was decanted and handled with care. Our dinner was delicious and we most enjoyed the evening. We will likely be back again this month.
Discover the best of truffle season at L'Escale. We recently dined there with friends and enjoyed amazing truffle pasta to start and beef au poivre, all paired with excellent champagne and wine. For fresh truffles and a fantastic seasonal menu in a cozy setting, L'Escale is a favorite!
This restaurant came so highly recommended though very surprisingly, the food was only okay, service okay though the hostesses up front have real attitudes.
We lucked out with the weather and were able to sit outside on the water. Beautiful view and setting. Delicious brunch! Had the salmon eggs Benedict which was delicious and well done
I took my girlfriend to l'escale on Friday and had a wonderful experience. The service is consistently professional as the entire staff seems dedicated to ensuring their patrons are having a positive experience. The ambience is a wonderful blend of sophisticated upscale and comfy and cozy, with views of the harbor on one side, and an enormous, elegant fireplace on the other. Our food was cooked perfectly and was absolutely delicious. She had the lamb chops which were seasoned and cooked perfectly, and I had the halibut, which was also absolutely delicious. We each requested and were served wine which complemented our meals.

Great experience. Customer service was superb. Food was delicious. Only downfall was that I went on a gloomy day.
Service was very slow. We weee seated in the lounge which was being managed by one person who was also the bartender. Besides slow service he gave us attitude when we followed up on expected time for the main course. Clearing if the table took very long, we had to ask for dessert menu and then the check took forever! I have always had great experience here, this was the first time it was disappointing.
The location, on waters edge, was always a winner. This time they were more than matched by the food. The seafood risotto was as good as I've ever had and all the starters were perfectly plated and delicious. The service was professional, yet friendly. A great night out.

Our table of four had seating outside, which was nice, but there was a violinist right next to us playing for a party and it was very loud. Service was excellent, but the Irish breakfast was awful. The bacon was cold and burnt and the slice of toast came out cold with large holes in it. The baked beans were the worst I ever tasted. The donuts for dessert were the only thing that were good. Unfortunately we've been here many times, but we will not be going back
It was our 38th wedding anniversary & our waiter Lenny was so personable. Lenny also asked & suggested if we would want to switch one of our sides to a vegetable since both our dishes came with French fries. Great suggestion cause we've asked before in other restaurants if they can do that & they would not:(:(. We frequent there after our Sunday early church service in White Plains so convenient & beautiful near the water & the boats.
Black Cod served on a bed of spinach was excellent. Very pleased with service which was always delivered with unceremonious economy and elegance. Fine selection of wines. Sparking prosecco was dry with a hint of fruit. Blueberry pie was scrumptious.
After having been in Reims and Paris for 6 days, we stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant for lunch on the way to Provence. This wonderful restaurant was on a quiet street. Seating was comfortable and the ambiance was excellent. We had the Perigourdine (foie gras), Gourmandie (shrimp and scallops), and Cote Mer (Sea Bass). Each dish was excellent, but if we had to pick our favorites we’d choose the foie gras and shrimp and scallops. We shared a lovely bottle of wine with our meal.
Highly recommended!

First off the valet who parked the car was curt and frankly impolite. The food overall was good although not up to standards I expected at this price point Service was attentive but again quality not up to the standard we expected. The waiter who brought the entrees to the table essentially threw the plates down in front of us before we had a chance to clear some room. Cell phone, glasses etc. without saying a word. This was an anniversary dinner. Unfortunately won't be going back.
