L’Escale is a true gem in the area. It’s my favorite restaurant and I’m picky. The food is great, and even more importantly the people who work there are very personable and super nice to my son when we dine there. The atmosphere is fine dining without being stuffy. They tend to have nice decorations for the holidays which adds to the ambiance. Highly recommend both for a special occasion and every day dining.

Absolutely loved L’Escale Restaurant! The food was so fresh and delicious, and the French fries were some of the best I’ve ever had. The space is beautiful, clean, and has a great atmosphere.
Huge shoutout to Lenny at the bar — incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and respectful. He helped me choose amazing food and drinks and truly made the experience special. Can’t wait to come back!

I came for a birthday lunch! The waitress didn’t even knowledge it and she didn’t read my notes. Good service but she didn’t even apologize . Also the MOST BASIC BURGER I EVER HAD and drinks . Very very disappointed with this place , I won’t go back. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY .

This place has a great location, but the food was incredibly basic. I ordered a burger, and honestly, the diner by me does a much better job. The French fries were also way too salty! To make matters worse, the waitress didn't even ask who the birthday person was or say happy birthday when we sat down. I'm very disappointed with my first visit and won't be returning. I trusted this place based on reviews, but it didn't live up to my expectations.
Valet parking was convenient, friendly greeters when we checked in, we did not like our intial table and they immediately moved us to a quieter area. Service was excellent, attentive and server made dining recommendations. Oysters were fresh and delicious, the Georgette Salad was refreshing and fresh that melded all the flavors perfectly. My spouse had Cod which she thoroughly enjoyed and the NY Strip was perfect. I believe our server's name was Jose, I will verify next time.
The restaraurant looked like it was being remodeled even though it wasn't. The dining areas were very dirty. The prices for breakfast were outrageous for what was served. I don't mind paying for good food, but what was served was definitely not anywhere near good food.

Nice restaurant with a large open fire giving it a lovely atmosphere.
The service was good and we enjoyed the food. However it is quite expensive and the food is not as good as it should be at these prices.

I like the Dodd and I have been coming on & off for 9 yrs. The only time I got great service was when I was with my husband!! Very sexist & not good service
Went for brunch. The menu has something for everyone. Food is perfectly cooked and presented. Cocktails are a perfect complement to the food. Don't miss dessert. The staff is on top without being intrusive, but always courteous and friendly.
This restaurant is located inside the Delamar Hotel in Greenwich and presents itself as upscale in name only. The service was underwhelming, and the food did not come close to justifying the high prices. The restrooms were downright disgusting to walk into.
I don’t mind paying a premium when the food and overall experience are worth it—but this was not. It was obvious at the time that the staff didn’t care, which is why we didn’t bother raising concerns during the meal.
To make matters worse, the food made my fiancé seriously ill; he ended up throwing up later that night, likely due to improperly cooked or expired meat. The waiter never once checked on our table to ask how the food was or whether we wanted another bottle of wine. Even as we were leaving, the manager walked by without acknowledging us or thanking us for dining there.
Overall, a very disappointing experience and not at all what you’d expect from a restaurant charging these prices.
Will not return, will not recommend. Period.

Avocado toast and a coffee was like 40 bucks... a little excessive. But the food tasted great.. eggs cooked to near perfection with fresh and tasty salad to round out the dish. Service was very cordial and on point. Atmosphere was classy/elegant.
