My mom and I had a girls getaway celebrating our summer birthdays. What a beautiful evening, we were seated outside, the service and atmosphere were perfect and the food was delicious!
My wife's 80th birthday was spoiled by a noisy patron who was mentally disabled but brought by her caretaker to have dinner and she screamed all through our meal. The restaurant didn't honor my request made a week in advance for seating outside which is the main reason for selecting this venue. They were nice and the food was good but overall they disappointed my guest of honor and so her special night didn't feel like why we came.
We love L'Escale and were celebrating two birthdays last night. Perfect table on the terrace. Drinks could have been a bit stronger and the profiteroles were “too different” for a purist. Desserts were definitely lacking. Great service, never felt rushed, a perfect choice for a lovely evening.
