We lucked out with the weather and were able to sit outside on the water. Beautiful view and setting. Delicious brunch! Had the salmon eggs Benedict which was delicious and well done
I took my girlfriend to l'escale on Friday and had a wonderful experience. The service is consistently professional as the entire staff seems dedicated to ensuring their patrons are having a positive experience. The ambience is a wonderful blend of sophisticated upscale and comfy and cozy, with views of the harbor on one side, and an enormous, elegant fireplace on the other. Our food was cooked perfectly and was absolutely delicious. She had the lamb chops which were seasoned...
Service was very slow. We weee seated in the lounge which was being managed by one person who was also the bartender. Besides slow service he gave us attitude when we followed up on expected time for the main course. Clearing if the table took very long, we had to ask for dessert menu and then the check took forever! I have always had great experience here, this was the first time it was disappointing.
