I typically love this restaurant but did not have a great experience for lunch. The host at the front desk was very unprofessional the minute we walked in the door and argued about my reservation. He should not be at the front of the house. Our food was good, although I did not get what I had ordered. Hopefully my next visit will be better!
We were there at night on a hot June day. We had a late reservation so we could sit outside on the porch after things cooled down. The porch was great. The food and service were also great.
What a lovely place to spend a special evening! We were given, at our request, a corner banquette. The food was splendid, notably the chicken paillard. The entire staff was so charming and accommodating. L' Escape remains my favorite Greenwich restaurant.
