I recently had the pleasure of dining at Louie's, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The warm, welcoming atmosphere sets the stage perfectly for a memorable meal. The Chicken Parm was hands down one of the best I've ever had. We also tried the Veal Martini, and it was exceptional. Between the attentive service, cozy atmosphere, and top quality dishes, Louie's is truly a gem in Greenwich. Highly recommend it for anyone craving authentic Italian food.
A classy, place, yet also neighborhood place with generations of history and has superb filet mignon. Owner came up and spent time giving us the family history.
Simple food, well done. Excellent service, valet parking included. Our table was outside and was very quiet, but inside was very noisy (probable because there were two large parties of 10+ people each). We will come back.
Delicious meal, great ambience and attentive service! The filet mignon was cooked perfectly with a crispy crust, and the black truffle fettuccine was rich but not too heavy. can't wait to go back!

Verry good Italian with great service in Cos Cob/Riverside. My go to for a nice pasta dish. The plus is the half price bottle of wine on Mondays and Tuesdays during the summer.

Food is mediocre. We kept going back thinking maybe it was just an off-night, but every night seems to be an off-night there. The straw that broke the camels back was when we had a reservation & had to wait 45 mins past for our table. Horrible hospitality. Food isn’t anywhere close to good enough to wait that long for a reservation.

Great neighborhood spot serving traditional Italian cuisine. Extensive menu and nice specials. Service was friendly and responsive. We felt appreciated as customers.

I have frequented Louie's many many times. I was very disappointed that my halibut special was dry and overcooked. My friend ordered the same and hers was also overcooked. I expected much better. I received a call after posting this review and Louie's manager was very upset by my dissatisfaction and wished I had said something at the time. He wants to make us happy and was very apologetic. Since I have always had good meals here, we will return.
The setting was classic—white linens, old-school charm, and just the right amount of elegance without trying too hard. It felt like a place built for connection, not just cuisine.
The combination of warm, attentive service and an exceptional dinner created a truly memorable evening with friends. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Old school Italian restaurant!
