Mediterraneo,and all of the other Z Hospitality Group restaurants always hit it out of the park. Three of the four of us ordered our favorite halibut entree and it was outstanding. I think this is in large part to the executive chef/partner, Albert DeAngelis. He has been at the helm for a long time and manages all the kitchens to create a consistent product. If you have the halibut, or anything else, in Greenwich, New Canaan or Rye, it always tastes delicious. Last night we definitely lingered at our table and the wait staff was very patient and did not try to hurry us along at all. It was a really fabulous evening.

Seated immediately for lunch. Waitress had trouble understanding a special request but head waiter checked with us to clarify. Spicy tuna bowl , gazpacho, chicken wrap excellent. Server was hovering even though restaurant was not full and no one was waiting. Felt rushed. Tables are not crowded ambience pleasant and relaxing.
The tuna crudo and goat cheese blintz salad were terrific, and not too much. The duck special with grilled peaches was cooked just as we asked, and the swordfish was to order as well. We couldn't resist the key lime pie, which was light - and very sweet. The servers were responsive and timely - great meal!

My husband and I went here tonight and it was crowded, it has a pleasant interior, but the food was subpar especially for the prices. We ordered a burger medium, sent it back because it was too rare, and the chef brought out the same burger without saying a word which was awkward and it was still much too rare. Wouldn't come back.
