Orienta Restaurant is a luxury French-Asian fusion eatery located near Main Street, Greenwich. The ambiance is warm, cozy, and welcoming, with low lighting and tables that are a bit too close together. The family-owned restaurant offers a great selection from Chef Adrian’s vision of French and Southeast Asian cuisine, creating an awesome combination. Despite the high prices, with a meal for six people exceeding $900, the culinary experience is exceptional and worth it.
Standouts include the baby back ribs, spicy duck lo mein, and the must-try Vietnamese crepe, which has even beaten Bobby Flay on his show. The lobster shooters, served in a shot glass with a coconut curry concoction, are also highly recommended. Other popular dishes are the salt and pepper cod over garlicky fried rice, shaken beef, and Rockstar shrimp, which features fried popcorn shrimp with sweet chili sauce.
