Food and service was fantastic I haven't been there for a little while and forgot how good the food is

I have never waited so long in my life to order or to receive food. We waited 15 minutes before getting a menu or water. Waited an hour after that to get just the appetizers. If you want to eat and get served, you will have better luck at the Wendy’s across the way.

The food was quite good however we ordered 3 appetizers for 4 people to share and the portions were not very large. We ordered the octopus ($30) and it was probably good for 1 1/2 portions. Very disappointing. Also had a Caesar salad and Beef Carpaccio which were also skimpy. The dinner portions were fine

Lovely evening, a wide variety of choices for each course, delicious food, superb wine lists with lots of price points. Attentive, professional attentive service.

We haven't been to Polpo in a minute, and honestly saw a lot of haters in the reviews. We had an absolute great experience. Dennis our server was outstanding and so was Jamie our server assistant. All the food was delicious and came out timely and super hot especially the plates which does not happen enough at restaurants. Kudos to the Polpo team for knocking it out of the park we will be back soon!

Ate outside quite pleasant, service was solid, food very good, Dover Sole was served cool not warm. Overall, a very lovely evening.

Great atmosphere! And consistently great food! I particularly like the wide choice of food, both on the menu and the specials. 

This is my favorite Italian restaurant. They know how to cook my favorite dishes like linguini and clam sauce, I highly recommend the tomato version. My husband loves their seafood salad. The food is fresh. The staff is friendly, it feels like a family owned place. There seems to be a lot of regulars there. I feel like a regular, I don't go every week, but at least 2 times a month or once a month. Wish I could go every week!

The food was good, the service was very blah, not friendly & no energy. Restaurant had an old feel about it.

Excellent experience, Michael was fantastic and the veal chop is the best we've ever had! Piano man was amazing

Very disappointing experience at this restaurant. I've eaten there on a number of occasions and this was probably the worst experience I've had there. The general staff at the front desk were rude, disrespectful and condescending. The weight staff seemed rush and indifferent to what they were doing. The portions were ridiculously comically small for the amount of money they were asking for this meal. I have no intention of returning and will be encouraging other people I know to not eat at this restaurant. 

It’s our second time at Polpo. We were directed to the bar to have a drink until our table was ready and we had a delightful experience. After an hour we asked if our table was ready and we were sadly sent upstairs. It seemed to be a place nobody wanted to be in. There were 5 tables filled in a gigantic room, one table insisted on being moved. The staff clearly recognized how sad the room was and offered us a comp charcuterie board, it was an extremely nice gesture. They were all lovely. It all went downhill when we paid the bill and my wife stepped into the ladies room and the manager asked me how it was, I told her upstairs wasn’t great. She told me I should have waited for a better table. I told her I waited over an hour and she said I should have made reservations earlier. A bottle of Brunello and meals, appetizers, desserts, drinks later, it didn’t feel like a lovely experience save for the hard working waiters, bartenders and service staff. The lady who was the manager was cold and unfriendly and will not be receiving future recommendations on our behalf. I really want to come back but feel unappreciated by management. Best wishes and hopefully we can do better at another restaurant in the group.

We made a reservation for our anniversary. They gave away our table but offered us a table outside. When we said ok , they then said it was unavailable and put us in a very noisy party room They were very rude, so we left. I have never experienced this anywhere
