We live in Brooklyn, NY, and stopped by this bakery during a trip to CT. We loved it from the moment we walked in. The owner has built an amazing team — everyone was genuinely friendly and welcoming. If you’re ever in Greenwich, I highly recommend stopping by.

Raphael's bakery Greenwich provided a croissant, pastry pop up for my building today for 150 guests. They were extremely helpful and accommodating an early 630 AM delivery to my building. Every piece was fresh, still warm and delicious. The guests had high praise for the quality of all items. It would be difficult to find a better croissant in Greenwich.

bought 5 fresh fruit tarts and 2 caneles. $66.00 later I got home to all of the being bitterly burnt. the caneles were totally inedible and full-on carbon on the bottom. I won't be returning. the greed in actually putting those things out for sale. SUPER YUCK

Stellar unapologetically French bakery! (Hopefully you like butter.) Get the jambon beurre. “Simple” dishes like these can’t hide behind anything; the jambon beurre here was flawless. Great ham, great butter, and one of the best baguettes I’ve ever had: extremely thick crispy crust that’s not a tough chew at all, light and soft and fluffy crumb, full of the flavor of wheat. You want to close your eyes and focus on the joy of eating. Take note of the different textures, the way the butter melts on your tongue, the aroma of wheat and ham as your exhale.

I took home a plain baguette and it was such a delight eating it as is. That’s how you know the bread’s excellent!

Raphael’s has a long line in the morning but that means they’re constantly taking things out fresh from the oven. The croissant was still steaming hot!

This is the most welcoming place around. The croissants and bread are beyond delicious. The owners, mother, sons and staff are instant friends to all of us. Miraculously they are also efficient in spite of their friendliness. I love going to Raphael’s!🧡 thank you!!

Excellent service and baked goods. Stopped in for macaroons (which were great) and they gave us these amazing little puff pastry things to try which were phenomenal.

Really nice bakery in Greenwich. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and you can tell they take pride in their work. Everything looked and smelled great, the chouquettes and the baguette were delicious. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area.

I always have such a welcoming and lovely experience every time I walk into Raphael’s. Beyond the bakery being absolutely delicious, it’s the inviting atmosphere and genuinely helpful staff that make all the difference. I’m especially obsessed with their chocolate chip almond cookies — easily a 10/10.
