If I can give less than a star I would. They never have anything in stock when you walk in and have to order everything in advance. Cakes are not fresh like they used to be since change of owner.

They sold me eclair. It is all moldy inside. Definitely would recommend to avoid it or check what inside the baking goods. I am scared I will get sick and I am pregnant.

St. Morris is an old school bakery that will always have a special place in my heart. For traditional cakes & pastries, it's a go to.

I go in mornings occasionally and it's hit or miss, prices are a bit high , but it's Greenwich. Today I went in and saw a large rat walking around the kitchen behind the baker. Yeah no thanks, keep it

I was in the area and had to stop in because I remember this bakery from 35 years ago when I worked in the area! I was so happy to see it was still there. HAD to get the delicious chocolate mousse cake that I remembered. It was still as delicious as it was back in the day! Also got some cookies and they were SOOOO good!

Honestly if I could write 0 I would. I am so disappointed. I bought some chocolate eclairs to bring over to a friends for dessert and they had mold on them ! I bought 4 desserts for $20... and they were moldy. Shame on them. This is a prime location with premium pricing. The desserts should taste good. I will never go there again.

Been going here for years for their Easter frogs, but they have really gone downhill. My son (who is a broke college student) went there to get me a 7 layer cake for my birthday. The outside was rock hard. The sponge layers were so dry, even 7 layers of buttercream could not save it. Everyone threw their slices in the garbage. I actually went there with the cake hoping they would make it right, and all they did is argue with me and tell me that is how the cake is supposed to be. BAD CAKE and BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE are unforgivable. BTW- I have had this cake in the past and was delicious. Def doing something different.

Just bought a 6 inch shadow cake today. Bravo!!! It had the perfect amount of chocolate and vanilla in the cake and the buttercream icing. We made fast work of polishing off that cake!!! Always loved the chocolate mousse cake too. Loved this place for years. Had a very nice girl wait on me today too.

Ordered a carrot cake for my grandmother's birthday today and to my surprise, the cake was terrible! There was no carrots at all in the cake, worst of all, it was extremely dried and beyond sweet! I honestly thought it was going to be amazing considering I paid $50 for a small cake. I will not be returning to this bakery and/or recommend it to any of my friends.

I have only purchased pastries from St. Moritz and I have never been disappointed. The number one item I buy are scones. They come plain or with raisins and they melt in your mouth. I also buy 18 at a time and ship them to one of my children who lives in Florida. You can freeze them in Zip Locs and they taste fresh when you thaw them.

Ok ok I get why less ppl go here, it's no frills but the cookies are good. The street is packed with sceney places and st moritz is clearly overlooked. But prices are good and people are kind and this cookie rocked my whole day!!! Give them a try!
