Always a comfortable and cozy spot! Love the fireplace in the back and food is delicious. I had the pork chop, which was great.
Had a great time at the old Ginger Man - hasn't changed a bit.

Was very loud in the front room, we somehow got seated between two tables of teenage boys, who were trying to talk to each other. That was a bit insane, so we asked if there was another option for our group of 4. They moved us outside to a nice spot and were very understanding of the situation. Problem solved!
My cousin and I hadn't seen each other in 6 years, and decided to meet half way in Greenwich. After reading reviews and asking friends and family, we decided on Ginger Man for Sunday brunch @ 1 pm. It was PERFECT. I had asked for a quiet table and we were seated in the back room which was very quiet. Susan, our waitress, gave us plenty of "time and space" and was very professional. The meal was delicious as well. Thank you!

The only true Pub on the Avenue. Cozy wooden interiors, warm lighting, and the food couldn’t be better. Pesto Mac&Cheese, Grilled Octopus, Salmon with Risotto…Wait Staff is professional, attentive, and knowledgeable of the food and drink. Speaking of drinks- Bar scene is fun, diverse, and a “community” within a community. Either “regulars” or visitors, always camaraderie and a fun time. Televisions for some sports viewing, great upbeat music, cool and clean atmosphere. On Friday nights you can be treated to drinks at the Bar with Kevin, also very knowledgeable and attentive. Or during the weekdays Pablo, or Sean for lunch/Happy Hour. Never a miss here!

Nice restaurant. Food was very good. Service was great. Very loud bar crowd made it necessary to sit at table in the back and unable to enjoy the bar ambience as hoped.
I don’t like to comment unless something is wrong.
Be careful what you order. The trout was delicious. The fish and chips was awful. The Cole slaw was a glop of the most horrible tasting whatever. The fries were soggy and cooked in oil which might have been rancid. The fish was decent but it was mostly flavorless coating cooked in possibly rancid oil. I don’t feel very well now but the trout was great
Great service and magnificent atmosphere-such a pity.

While visiting family in Greenwich we stopped in and had a family lunch and a couple of beers. Four adults and two kids! All were satisfied with the quality and portion sizes. Great place with beautiful woodwork and nice bar!

Overall it was good but the interior is worn and tired (ripped upholstery on the seats, heavily worn wooden tables and floors ). The food tasted and was presented well but salmon blt had the thinnest slice of salmon I have ever seen. Could not call it a piece of fish, was a mere slice. The Cobb salad was good, extra charge for chicken. Fries were ok - not crispy (we were there when they opened for lunch so maybe the fryer was not hot enough) Service was good.
Best value on Greenwich Ave. Perfect craft beer selection. Fantastic place to meet for a drink or host a small company get together.
