Came for a birthday dinner and specifically told staff on the phone what the occasion was when making a reservation only to hear about 7 other groups of birthdays celebrated and never once did anyone come to the table with any acknowledgment of the birthday being celebrated. Disappointed to say the least.

Elegant place, food was amazing, and service/staff were attentive to details. Tony made our night checking on us multiple times throughout the night and keeping us entertained with his trivia brain teasers.

This was our first time here. We came here for a double date. Drinks were great , started with the spicy margaritas. They had a really nice bar which set the ambience to start. We had some oysters and colossal shrimp with some tuna tartare. The main entrées included, a rack of lamb, chicken scarpiello, filet mignon and tuna. We opted for broccoli rabe, asparagus and lobster mac and cheese as sides. Lobster Mac was good, broccoli rabe was bitter. Overall entrées were good, but I think for the prices they were charging they could've been a little bit better. My chicken scarpiello was delicious. I just wish it didn't come with those potato chips. I would've preferred either actual real potatoes or pasta. The lamb chops were okay, they lacked flavor. Our waiter Joe was attentive and informative very friendly. He provided us with great service.

I think we will be taking a break from Tony's for a while after a disappointing Sunday Brunch. We have had great experiences in the past. The waiter this time around paid no attention to our table. Firstly there was cutlery missing from the table, but no waiter service to mention it to. We ordered the charcuterie board and were not provided any plates. The waiter didn't even come by to check on us as we made do with picking and eating from the board itself with the cutlery we had. My daughter's water needed refilling for quite some time and it wasn't until restauranteur Tony came by that he noticed instantly and had it filled in 10 seconds. The waiter seemed more focused on other tables than ours. Service was slow and had it have been quicker, we probably would have stayed for dessert. Sadly as a birthday treat, this left us a little disappointed.

I love getting together with friends and family in the patio here! The staff is always great and very accommodating. Whether it is dinner or a Sunday brunch, I always have a great experience.

This place has no reason to be listed as 4 stars, the food was terrible. The service was nice sure, but for a restaurant in Greenwich CT, this did not impress. When you first walk in, the restaurant has a weird smell, the napkin on my plate was dirty, and the food itself had a moldy taste (and no I did not order anything with blue cheese). The quality of the food overall was extremely disappointing, the vines on the patio were not worth the terrible food. I would never go back.

This was second visit. The first time we only had sushi and it was great. This time we ordered apps, entrees and a dessert. Overall, the apps were great . Of the 4 we ordered zucchini flowers stuffed with ricotta, crab cake, oysters were very good. The grilled octopus was just ok. It needed some sort of sauce or spice to it, overall was bland. For entrees we ordered filet, pork chop and tuna with eggplant. The eggplant ratatouille was the best part . The steak for $60 was not worth the cost, the sauce in the tuna ruined the tuna and the pork chop was not good. Pork chop a far cry from Gabriel's or Hudson Malones. One tuna entree was supposed to be simply prepared but they gave us 2 with ratatouille. They offered to cook another meal but we didn't want everyone waiting . Waiter asked how food was and we told him the pork chop was not good. We did not mention the steak or the sauce on the tuna. We thought the wrong meal or the pork chop entree should have been taken off the bill. At the very least we should have gotten a round of drinks or our dessert comped. Our bill was $650 , not including tip, for 4 people. Food should have been much better at this price. Embarrassed we had our friends meet us half way from NYC for this meal.

My husband and I had a fabulous Romance package at the hotel and we were looking forward to dining here again. Unfortunately, their once stellar (best I ever had) Caesar Salad is totally different than it was a year ago. I think there is a new chef in the kitchen. The dressing was flavorless and their Parmesan crisp was very thick, chewy and didn't taste at all like Parmesan. It was awful and I barely finished 1/4 of it. Please bring back the old chef or at least show the new one how to make the traditional Caesar salad that you used to offer. We also had sushi which was good as were the drinks. Our server, Robert, wasn't very attentive and was very apathetic when we asked questions about the salad. Deymar and Mario were awesome though! Those two deserve five stars as they gave us excellent service! Beautiful restaurant with nice ambiance. Bring back the original Caesar Salad!

I visited Tony's at the J House for Valentines Day. Every year I take my mother out on Valentines Day since my father passed. I drove approximately 2 hours to this location for a reservation at 9:15pm which I had confirmed the day prior. Upon arrival I checked in with the hostess at 9:08pm and stood to the side waiting to be called. Multiple couples that arrived after me had been escorted to their table before I had. I waited to observe a bit to ensure what I was witnessing was actually occurring. I finally went up to the host at 9:50 and immediately asked for a manager. The manager was a young and inexperienced man that told me he would then sit me in 2 minutes. An additional 10 minutes went by, as the manager proceeded to then take another group of girls who came in well after I had that was sitting at the bar. I went up again and asked how the process worked here for sitting at this was my first time here. The hostess then tells me there is no order at all and then admitted to me that they are taking whoever keeps asking to be sat first. This enraged me because what is the point of a reservation and confirmation then? The manager immediately comes over and then magically provides me with a seat.Upon sitting down, I began to enjoy my experience as my waiter and multiple other waitstaff were amazing. Each one I had encountered was mannerable, kind, quick, and payed great attention to detail. There was a Valentines Day pre-fixe menu which I did not want to order off of but was told they will not do regular menus when it is busy which is understandable. For an appetizer I got the trio dumplings and crab cakes. The crab cakes flavor was great but lacked a crispiness to them. The trip dumplings should've been in the trash. They are so small approximately the size of one small bite and lacked flavor. I do not recommend. For an entree I got a steak and potatoes and filet minion ravioli. The steak lacked flavor but the potatoes were packed with flavor and creaminess. The filet minion ravioli is two large ravioli filled with steak and a ridiculous amount of tomatoes. I would not recommend. The desserts were nasty, I got a cannoli and Napoleon. Both were not that great. My bill came to about $300 which includes two drinks, two pre fixe dinners, and tip. Overall, I would say I had a negative experience here and the only highlight was the wait staff and valet. I definitely think Tonys at the J House is not worth the time or money. DO NOT TRY THIS RESTAURANT BEWARE.

Hosted an event here and was overall very disappointed by the service and events team. The food was fine but the planning process was very difficult. Communication was bad and their team does not go the extra mile to make you feel accommodated or prioritized. I would not recommend hosting a private event here.

Really beautiful interior & overall romantic setting. String lights throughout the restaurant, features two swings to lounge on, and a fireplace. They had multiple booths for larger parties but also a great date night spot. Good selection of wine. I tried the yellowtail jalapeño appetizer which was good quality (but do wish It had more spice either through jalapeños or hot sauce) & the chicken martini. Everyone was super friendly & kind.

We have been going to Tony's since he opened & have never had a bad meal or bad service. Everything has always been superb! Beautiful ambiance & excellent food priced at a great value considering the tremendous quality.
