It was ok. Had the chef salad. If they use the same meat for the grinders, they're going to be average as well. Super friendly staff, nowhere to sit, definitely call ahead for takeout.

Great sub at a price that you can’t find anywhere now a days, the people working there were very friendly as well. Even with the price and the service the highlight is the food itself. Quality ingredients amd deli meat that was sliced right after I put my order in.

It's a cash only business, I don't commonly carry cash, so I left without eating.

My Italian grandfather, Pop as we called him , turned me on to this place at a very young age, still have amazing grinders and even more amazing Italian bread, highly recommend if you want a great sandwich ❤️

Don't order a large meatball grinder you'll get 1 meatball slightly bigger than a golfball sliced into 4 pieces. Absolute garbage dump.

THE GRINDERS HERE ARE FANTASTIC. FULL STOP!!!! Ignore the naysayers. This is a very small simple Italian grinder shop. It's likely that this shop used to be more robust & offer Italian groceries & subs: more like a real Italian Deli. It's pretty bare bones now but that's okay bc it's still EXCELLENT. They just have scaled back tremendously to focus on a dozen or so different grinders. THEY USE AWESOME AUTHENTIC ITALIAN BREAD for their grinders. And their Italian oil they drizzle on some of their subs is DELISH & TOP QUALITY. I had a turkey grinder with LTO, sweet & hot peppers & drizzle of olive oil & freshly cracked pepper. The SMALL SUBS are 9 INCHES & are ~$10- The LARGE SUBS ARE 12 INCHES ~$12-. They sell a few flavors of small sized Community potato chips, Cole slaw, macaroni & potato salad $2.50 & 3-4 types of cold canned soda. The staff were very nice, kind, & courteous. There's only 1 or 2 older gentlemen working in the shop & there's a steady stream of customers. I DEFINITELY recommend calling ahead 15+ mins to order if you are in a hurry. ALSO CASH ONLY. (ATM AVAILABLE ACROSS STREET AT LOCAL RICHONI’S BAR & TAVERN). Overall EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE!HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR DELICIOUS TOP QUALITY GRINDERS!

The bread was as stale and hard as it could have possibly been. The girl asked me at three different points what I wanted on the sandwich. Each time I told her "no cracked pepper". Sure enough, she covered my chicken salad with cracked pepper. Who puts cracked pepper on chicken salad anyway?!? It also took a ridiculously long time to make just two sandwiches. Also, the place is dirty and run down. I just can't figure out how they stay in business. Definitely a big thumbs down!
