Lovely authentic thai restaurant. Extremely sweet owner. The food is absolutely delicious. The tea very lovely as well. I got pineapple fried rice with veggies it was very good i also go a thai iced tea which was also delicious. I had food for my daughter and asked for it to be heated up for a couple of seconds and there were no issues in doing so. The restaurant was clean warm (it is cold out) and lit well. Thank you for a lovely meal and experience!

Nice home made style Thai restaurant. Staffs are very kind and professional. Prices are competitive and portions are generous. It has a parking lot in rear. Dishes look more authentic and home-made style. It is located in the middle of nowhere, but it gave me a experience as a spot in SOHO. Good place for casual dining.

Excellent food, reasonable prices, friendly owners! Friendly Thai is a favorite place for my son and I to stop on the way home from Rhode Island. The only negative is I wish they were closer to where I live, I would go at least once a week! Highly recommended.

Small but really nice and friendly place. Food was delicious! The only place I found in eastern CT that uses chicken thighs for their teriyaki bowls. Tender & juicy with perfectly crispy skin. The vegetables were fresh and delicious, as well. Definitely coming back.

This restaurant has the best Thai food in the area. My relatives from NYC and Boston all complimented on the food. The massaman curry, pad Thai rice noodle, pad Thai see ow, the fried chive appetizer, and chicken satay were all delicious. I will definitely be ordering from here again!

We were hungry after a long trip. We found this place online. It was a bit hard to park on the street, but worth it. We all liked our food. Service was fast and prices were reasonable.
This place is great and I highly recommend. The food is the closest to the original Thai food. Toon- the owner if this place is always hands on. She is approachable and always explain the dish if you have any questions. I always go here if I have a chance and if I am in the area. They have alot of regular customers that I see that Toon is in good relationship with. Great place, great foos and great customer service.

Based on the reviews, we visited this small restaurant in Groton. (We are staying just outside of Mystic, which is crazy due to an Art festival). The meal was delicious - we shared curry puffs and chicken panang curry. The Thai iced coffee was great, too. The people working there were very nice and thoughtful as well. Nothing fancy here - just very tasty Thai food and good service!

Came to Friendly Thai with a group of friends and few weeks ago and had an amazing time. David was the highlight super friendly, and funny. He recommended the Pad Woon Sen and WOW ots one of the best things I’ve eaten in a while. The food came out very quickly, and it was plated beautifully, and the whole atmosphere was amazing thry even played Mark Wiens who I love 5 stars will definitely be back
