Great gluten free (celiac friendly), dairy and egg free beef dumplings that are extremely hard to find, however, this place knocked ir out of the park. Great texture and crunch (pan fried) skin. Filling was very good as well. For all the allergies, this is a treasure to find. Thank you for all the hard work!!! Also, photo of a regular pork and cabbage pan fried dumpling. Also very good.

Went here while visiting my parents and we were very pleasantly surprised!
We got the fried pork dumplings, soup dumplings, pork bao, scallion pancakes, a vegetable spring roll, and the mixed veggies dish. Everything was very good except the scallion pancakes were a bit bland and could have been crispier. For us, the soup dumplings in particular were probably our favorites. We'll be back for sure! And I wish I'd gotten more pics!

I ordered several dumplings, fried rice, lo mein, ribs, etc,. Spent over $150 for my family. I personally had the shrimp colorful dumplings and pork lo mein. The dumplings were horrible the dough was thick and the filling did not taste like shrimp but was an unrecognizable dry sand mixture. The lo mein although tasteful had awful noodles.
What a wonderful gem in Groton! Harry is just the sweetest person you’ll ever meet! Food was amazing, their noodles are hand made (hand pulled), so were the vegetable dumplings! The taste was top notch, my husband who has been to china said it tasted so authentic! We got beef and broccoli stir fry with fried rice and vegetable dumpling soup and vegetable lo main! I’ll go there again and I live in Meriden! The only complaint was silverware being very bendy and fragile and I did let Harry know about it. Food is authentic and fresh and it’s a clean place.

Having Celiac Disease and adhering to a gluten free diet can be challenging especially trying to eat Chinese takeout. This is the first place in five years I have been able to enjoy Chinese takeout again . My husband and I love the food and staff. We go at least once a week. Extremely friendly and great food !

We love this place. My hubs and I do Dumpling Fridays where I will order, and he will pick up and we spend our lunch break eating dumplings. We LOVE dumpling specific restaurants, and although there are other things on the menu, we have only had the dumplings here. But they are absolutely 100% worth it. Prices are good, food is delicious, the people who work here are delightful. Thank you Gold Dumpling for starting our Dumpling Friday tradition. Highly recommend you try this place out if you are as big on dumplings (bobs tea too!) as we are.
