We stopped at Groton Townhouse Restaurant on a Monday for lunch. We were seated immediately. The service was good and the food arrived very quickly. My sole was fresh and delicate and my DH's turkey sandwich tasty. Very clean. Friendly staff.
On our way to Plymouth and stopped for lunch. Friendly servers, GREAT food and impressed with how easy it was to find! So good that we stopped on the way back to NY and enjoyed yet another GREAT meal!!
Felt really nice to sit down and have a cozy dinner with my husband. The atmosphere really took me back when I was younger. I liked the color scheme and the food.

Wow! We drove an hour to meet someone here at this Groton institution and it did not disappoint! The menu offerings are extensive to put it mildly. I've never seen such a large menu. Any place that offers me breakfast at anytime of day is already a winner in my book. Everything we had was excellent. They have old-school items that you don't see many places anymore. What a gem! I can't wait to return to try other foods there.

It has become a tradition that at some point in Labor Day weekend, two friends and I will have a meal here! Today two of us made it in there. We were celebrating my friend Laurie's birthday. It was ironic that the same server that we had today is the one we've had the last 2 years when we come in for her birthday. Ida does a great job. I told her how I had a family member with the same name. She was very personable, very helpful, considerate and attentive.
Laurie had the Chicken California which she enjoyed so much, from the first bite. I had the chicken and shrimp stir fry which was fantastic. My chicken noodle soup to start with was bringing me back memories of the soup my grandmother used to make for me.
We ended with the Pina colada cake for Laurie and I had the Boston cream pie. They both were tasty and a joy to eat!
Show people from a retired regional customer service manager who understands customer service, I can really recommend coming here and enjoying a meal with loved ones. I think you will be pleased!

I've visited Groton Townhouse for breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. Servers provide quality service and the food is good, I've personally never had a complaint. Prices are reasonable for the food quality and portions. Also, deserts are great!
