We just took my daughter for her 17th birthday, she originally wanted sushi. She looked at the menu and immediately changed her mind and chose to try her first seafood boil! She absolutely LOVED IT! The servers are fast and friendly and the food is GREAT! She chose snow crab legs and black mussels, my boyfriend had a crab cluster combo and I had a sausage boil combo. Everything was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. We will 100% be coming back!!!! Highly recommend!
I thoroughly enjoyed my special time and our meal at Mr. Crab. ABUNDANT share of food, especially the crab legs !

When this was Sushi Kawa it was my favorite sushi restaurant, and I was devastated when they changed to Cajun, until the day I discovered they had reintroduced a smaller Japanese menu. It’s still my favorite sushi restaurant, my fiance loves the steak hibachi dinner, my mom loves the crab cakes. I eat here probably at least 15 times a year, and I’ve never been disappointed.
Vegetarian options: Decent number of vegetarian friendly options, avocado roll, cucumber roll, spring rolls, plain noodles and rice, and then your basic fries, edamame, white rice.
Dietary restrictions: The Japanese menu is relatively allergy friendly, AFAIK nuts are not a huge concern, dairy is a minimum aside from a few items that do use cream cheese, obviously it’s not too good for fish/seafood allergies but they have non-seafood options, though I can’t speak to cross contamination risks.
Parking: It’s got plenty of parking, the lot does blend into the one for the business park behind it but neither of them are ever full enough to be a problem.
Wheelchair accessibility: I don’t think there’s a ramp up to the door, just a handful of stairs, unless there’s a side ramp that I’ve never seen.

It pains me to give Mr. Crab 3 stars. Normally when we come here to eat, it’s with a group of 5-8. There is usually no problem with the food or service; everyone is pretty friendly and despite a couple of odd allergies and a few dietary restrictions, everyone in our family is able to find something on the menu. I order the same time every time we come here. I sometimes ask for NO SPICE due to GI issues that act up from time to time, and other times I’ll get some spice. Today we were just a party of two, and I asked for garlic butter with no spice. I repeated myself twice to ensure there was no spice; today is an iffy day for my GI issues and I’d rather not taste crab and mussels coming back up. I began eating and noticed there was a bit of spice, probably somewhere between their normal mild and medium. I asked the waitress if she was sure there was no spice and she asked the kitchen, who told her there was none. Okay, fine. Maybe it was the sauce from the hush puppies; I had had a few of those and didn’t notice spiciness, but maybe it was a delayed reaction. The waitress offered to take my plate and “rinse the crab” or “steam it again” for me. Absolutely not. I noticed the sauce was a little redder than usual, and the middle part of the claw was cold and full of water, like it was frozen, then steamed part of the way through, but not all of the way. Then I noticed red pepper flakes (see photo of one pepper flake; I did not take photos of the individual mussels that had more,) on the crab shell and inside some of the mussels. I ate what I could (all of the seafood,) but I’m pretty disappointed both in myself for not asking for it to be remade completely, but also in the staff for pushing back when I told them something was wrong. We do have a hot pepper allergy (full on anaphylaxis within minutes of ingesting it,) in the family, and I can’t in good conscience bring my family back here again if customers are dismissed when an issue with the food is brought to staff’s attention; specifically that it would be rinsed and then re-steamed. That definitely won’t solve the issue. I’m pretty non-confrontational with restaurant staff and try to avoid wasting food or sending food back for various reasons, but IF we ever return, I don’t think I’ll be ordering anything with garlic butter again.
Dietary restrictions: My request for no spice was not taken seriously; I would not trust this restaurant with food allergies or dietary restrictions.

Was my first time here today! The Lobster Bisque was delicious and I had the Phoenix Roll which was amazing!!! Will definitely come again! Everything was delicious!
I asked for no spice today (usually order mild or medium,) due to a GI issue that comes and goes. I was assured I had received no spice by the server, but the sauce looked suspiciously redder than the normal “no spice,” more toward the medium level. There were also red pepper flakes in the bag my boil came in, and the crab was not adequately heated all the way through; several parts of the legs and claw had that extra watery, stringy texture that previously frozen (nothing wrong with that,) but only halfway reheated, or even the easily shred-able imitation crab meat has. The server repeated that the kitchen said it was no spice, offered to “rinse it off” and/or “steam it again plain,” neither of which would solve the issue. I finished what I could, which was almost all of it because I didn’t want to waste it, paid and left. I am loath to send food back to have it remade for various reasons, but the fact of the matter is that in this instance, it should have been. I cannot in good conscience bring my family back if this is how requests for no spice, and then bringing it to the employees’ attention are handled. I do have family members who are allergic to undercooked shellfish as well as hot peppers (I know it sounds odd, but I have seen the anaphylaxis happen with my own eyes.) This has not been an issue prior to this and we have loved going to Mr. Crab the last few years; I just can’t take another chance with this.
They don't serve too much but food is good and atmosphere is relaxing.

This is a review based solely on their food.
The seaweed salad is scrumptious, and generally they do a good job with providing you with ginger and wasabi. I like that the food comes with chopsticks, no questions asked.
The atomic sauce rates at about a 4 of 10 on my scale. Acts like a scorpion pepper, lasts as long, watch the lips though. I can get more heat from a tik tak.
Overall the food is very good, well thought out.
The reason I give them two stars is that there is no flavor to the food. There is no umph to the menu. No overall authenticity. It's a mish mash of different dishes, all very good, but taken together, very meh.
I can get a meal at a gas station that tastes the same for a fraction of the price.
In conclusion, don't waste your money. There are plenty of other places close by that will give you what you are looking for in all respects.
