This is a hidden gem, don't let the exterior strip mall front distract or deter you. This is a local place with great food and an inclusive atmosphere. We drove 13 hours from Detroit and felt immediately at home. Thanks to Marcela our waitress.
Took some friends out to dinner and drinks on Sunday Night. Original Bar Cafe! Comfortable. Good food-large quantities with reasonable prices. Excellent Service. Thumbs up to our Server/Waiter Aiden. Attentive, pleasant, friendly. Sneekers is like going to that neighborhood place that many of us grew up with and enjoyed! Like a well worn and loved pair of Sneakers!
This is one of my favorite places in Groton. The fish and chips boast thick cuts of fish, and the batter is delicate and delicious. Calamari is perfectly cooked. The brussel sprouts are heavenly. The drinks are crafted beautifully. Honestly, I've not had a bad food experience here once.
It can get loud sometimes (loud music). It's clean, and all of the staff are so friendly.
