I want to call out an employee! Brandy!
She’s awesome!! I had to call the store to find out the soups off the day. DoorDash didn’t know. She’d told me the options.
Then, when I ordered a bowl of soup on DoorDash, she called back to confirm which one I wanted.
Having worked in restaurants myself, I know that the 3 minutes she took to call me and confirm a customer’s order makes all the difference.

Great food/consistent. However, for the price of their salads, there should be much more chicken on them

I went in and had a lovely conversation with the people who work here and the food was so nice. The sandwich i got the buffalo chicken rustica was a half sandwich and salad was so nice plenty of meat and the salad was tasty for it as well. I recommend if you want a local restaurant and a good meal at a fair price this is the place for you. Its nice and much better then and sandwiches i gotten at a subway or jimmy johns

The pastrami reuben with potato salad is one of my go-tos from anywhere in the area. Hard to beat it, especially for the price. Service is always great!

I'd been hearing about this place for years, and it immediately lived up to expectations. I was helped almost immediately, by an employee who was both friendly and knowledgeable. He made sure I didn't have any food allergies before offering me a sample cookie. I ordered 7 cookies, and they came to about $5. They're tasty, but regular sized cookies, so they're good for kids, a small treat, or if you want to try a few (they're about the size of the cookies I normally make at home). I didn't try the sandwiches, but probably will next time.

I'm so sad I love Village Bake House. I ordered through UberEats but I called them specifically the gentleman was so kind and assured me he will not add goat cheese since I have a problem consuming dairy also for the soup I said no to clam chowder and they still sent it. $16 is really pricy for the quality of the salad I RECIEVED.

No frills interior but that’s not problem. The food is simple stuff done very well. Their fresh baked bread that they use on their sandwiches is the show stealer for me. And don’t forget to grab some cookies. Ps the meatloaf sandwich is my favorite but I had the tuna melt today on rye and it was delightful.

Just received the grossest chicken orzo soup I've ever seen in my life. The broth was grey and there was no chicken, orzo, only carrots. Disgusting.
