Food is mid at best, latest delivery driver has a really bad attitude, drives a black Jeep SUV average delivery time is 45 mins+ from a place that 8 mins away from where I'm ordering. Tried to make sure driver had a tip and his response was short, was rude 2 previous times. Tried to call and call tell them got cut off and asked what phone number I was calling from. Then they passed off to someone who was supposedly a manager that didn't even announce themselves on the phone as such, got cookie cutter response! Nobody cares!

I am a long-time customer and am all about supporting local businesses, but my recent experience at Wings and Pies in Groton was unacceptable.
I picked up a pizza order from them the other night, but when we went to eat it, we discovered it was severely overcooked and rock hard. The Subject: Severely Overcooked Pizza and Terrible Customer Service at Wings and Pies
I am a long-time customer and am all about supporting local businesses, but my recent experience at Wings and Pies in Groton was unacceptable.
I picked up a pizza order from them the other night, but when we went to eat it, we discovered it was severely overcooked and rock hard. The crust was so tough that my husband actually chipped a tooth on it.
Because I had to work, I couldn't return right away. I came in the next afternoon with almost the entire pizza to show the staff the condition of the food and seek a refund or replacement.
Despite seeing the concrete evidence of the overcooked pizza, the employees were dismissive. They essentially stated that the pizza was "normal" and refused to do anything to make the situation right.
It is very wrong on their part to treat a regular customer this way. The lack of accountability and poor customer service when faced with a serious quality complaint means I can no longer support this business. I wanted to share this so other potential customers are aware of how Wings and Pies handles their mistakes.

I moved to the area alittle over 2 years ago and have been ordering from here twice a week as well as telling other to go.Today that comes to a grinding stop after receiving an over cooked pizza which happens I get it. I made a complaint for the first time ever. The level of disrespect & total unwillingness to even try and work it out was unreal basically. go screw should have been there words. Support local always but not when 2 years as a loyal patron means notta. WINGS & PIES GROTON I WILL SPEAK ILL OF YOU GUYS TO ANYONE AND EVERYONE. Ordered the party size vegetable medley pizza for delivery. Very friendly person who took my order. Pizza was sent to a friend's home who recently lost her husband. Delivery was on time and the pizza was a big hit. Thank you!

Most of the food tastes amazing and the price is reasonable for how much you get. When I order domino's I can eat a XL pizza and still be hungry but for these pizzas I didn't even finish my medium because I was to filled their taco pizza is as good as pizza hut's and their wings are great ive tried at least two or three flavors but sadly I do not enjoy any of the four pastas I have tried. On an up note I enjoy the most of the desserts on my next paycheck I intend to taste the calzones and strombolli.
