Best Video is amazing! We canceled all our streaming services and got a BV membership instead. We always find great picks for family movie night here, and it’s also a great space for discovering films both new and old. It’s also a great community space — they host wonderful events where the regulars know each other, and the staff always greet me by name when I come in. Love this place!

I love this old school video store. The staff is incredible and the selection of videos is amazing. I love coming for a coffee to work and bring a movie home for the evening. This is one of my favorite parts of living in Hamden!

This place is so cool! They have a very impressive library of movies, a great cafe and bar, and awesome events most nights including film screenings and live music. With the affordable membership structure and the central location on Whitney Ave in Hamden, this little video store is a real gem in the New Haven area.
Coffee is always excellent, but they did away with the grill. The video section is outstanding. I understand they have live music during the summer, but I haven't been to that event.

We love this place! When we hear about a good movie, we can call to inquire if they have it. They'll hold it for us and the service is amazing! So friendly! Such a good selection.

Color us impressed! We've been in the area for a bit, but moved to a new house yesterday. We made the (long overdue) trip to Best Video and are kicking ourselves for not going sooner! The space itself has a unique charm. I looked around to see people working, getting coffee, watching the film playing, and selecting movies with the employees. It was great to see all that happening! The coffee is excellent. They stock Willoughby's Coffee which is a great brand. They had a full lineup of drinks. My husband got an iced coffee and I got a strawberry refresher type drink. Both were great. A bug win for me is the stocking of Bruggers Bagel AND dairy free Vio Life cream cheese. Made my day. While we were there a runner came in for a water stop. They leave an open water station for all. It's great to see such a community place thriving. We will be back many times.
