WAY OVERPRICED. WE GOT WHOLE BELLY CLAMS MEAL AND SCALLOPS MEAL IT WAS $61.00 AND NOT THAT MUCH FOOD AND IT WAS ALL FRIED AND IN NO WAY SHOULD OF BEEN $61.00 I THINK MY HUSBAND GOT A HOT DOG AS WELL. REGARDLESS IT WAS SO EXPENSIVE FOR MEDIOCRE FOOD. ANY ONE COULD FRY SEAFOOD!! STOWES IN WEST HAVEN ALL THE WAY OR KEVINS SEAFOOD IN NEW HAVEN. BUT THIS PLACE THUMBS DOWN!!!!! The food is always delicious!! Can't beat their hot dogs. And French fries and onion rings are great too. Food is ready quickly. The staff is always so friendly and helpful.

This is a no frills, God's honest local hot dog, hamburger, and seafood joint that's been operating for almost 70 years with an attached ice cream parlor. As for the prices, what did these people leaving bad reviews expect? Inflation is bad all over. Everyone's paying more for everything and that's not going to change, get used to it. Also, your bad mood? That's a "you" problem. Employees are more than just slaves. Demean them and you can expect your own behavior returned in kind.
