Been meaning to try this gem for a while - finally made it today. It is literally a hole in the wall. Located off Dixwell between Alltown and Home Depot.

Plenty of street parking.

There is a walk up window but it was closed. You walk in and place your order. Takes a few minutes to prepare.
The menu is online as well.

Really decent spot! The name of the place is spot on. Several different empanadas were ready to go. I was in a rush, so it was pretty perfect for me. In and out in less than 5 minutes.
The empanadas themselves were solid. Not the best I've had in CT, but loved the different selection to choose from. I would come back.

OH MY GOD!!! I don't know how many hundreds - thousands of times I must have passed by this hidden gem without any knowledge of it's existence! Nothing like a tucked away nook with great food.

Was craving empanadas and found 'Grab and Go' through a near me Google search. . . and I am so happy I did! Super fresh hot delicious food and the staff was so pleasant! I am on my way right now because I want to try more things! The prices and portions...
