This location was extremely unsanitary. I found curly HAIR in my sandwich, and the floors were visibly filthy. One employee was eating while preparing food, and another was chewing gum over the bread. Only one employee was wearing a hat and working.
I waited approximately 35 minutes for an online order despite the store not being busy. Based on other reviews, these cleanliness and professionalism issues appear to be ongoing. Very disappointing and unacceptable.

I find the girl who works the counter to be incredibly rude. She will go out of her way to ignore you and make you feel invisible. I hate coming in this place.

I guess I’m not the only individual that had a very uneasy experience in Hamden. The individual working the front was not very warm or welcoming, she seemed rather annoyed. The reg sandwich was not cut in half and had mayo blotched all over it. The front worker also put everything in everyone else’s bag before me but didn’t bother to put anything but the sandwich in mine and left me to out the rest in my own bag and No napkins at all. Will never go back

Horrible experience. Made us the wrong order - Lucas assured us we would get our sandwich whenever we came back in. He “wrote down” my name and number. The next day the lady working had no idea what I was talking about. Tried to get in touch with him and he was unreachable to verify. Just all around horrible customer service. We’d simply just like our sandwich that we paid 23 dollars for! horrible communication and service all around. I Do not recommend.

Came here the other day, it was busy which if fine, I know what it is like to work in a busy atmosphere but some of the staff can multitask. You can take orders and do online orders at the same time. My son got a steak and cheese which I’m not sure that is what he should have order with how dirty the flat top was, just a little water goes a long way j/s. Well my instincts where right he know has food poisoning. Don’t think I will be returning Anytime soon or even at all.

This jersey Mike’s in Hamden Connecticut is very very not good. I would not come back here. I went there today with my daughter and I order food for me and my sister and my daughter and the staff there were very rude and disrespectful and obnoxious and just playing on unprofessional the sandwiches wasn’t even good and I want my money back ASAP. Only reason why I didn’t go back in there is due to the fact having self-control and respect from myself and my child and I do not want to argue with the staff members at the Hampton location of Jersey Mike’s because they are so unprofessional and obnoxious in just rude
Great/speedy customer service ! 100/10. Everything was clean and neat! Including the employees uniforms! I am a person who pays attention to detail especially when it involves my food! I will for sure return to this location in the future. Thank you to tonight’s staff I deeply appreciate you guys for your service🫡🫶🏽 First impression 1000/100

Young lady slicing meat was very professional. The 2 other individuals , cook, and one on the register, bad attitudes. WON'T BE BACK. Working station dirty not appetizing at all. Presention is majority of the job.

not sure why the score is so low .. they make my sandwich good every time .. steak n cheese is always fire … I had the chicken bacon ranch and I didn’t like it but I like everything else.. they could wipe down the tables a little more as there is always grease spots on them

Jersey Mike’s in Hamden is my go-to spot for a great sub! The food is always fresh and flavorful, but what really sets this location apart is how seriously they take gluten-free orders. They wash their hands, change gloves, use a separate knife, and even wipe down the prep station—all to make sure it’s safe. As someone with celiac, that level of care means everything. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a tasty and safe gluten-free meal!

So this isn't the 1st time I've had Jersey Mikes
The Wallingford and Milford locations were Great so today we decided to try the Hamden location on Dixwell Ave. The sandwich maker .made my wrap and my husband sub....sloppy mayo all over her gloves
The oil and vinegar she applied there was more on the counter than the sandwich...blah! I ate part of my wrap wasn't good 😕 my husband 😒 staring at the Hot mess not sure if hes going to eat it or not

Placed a order from uber eats, me and my gf decided to run errands knowing the food would take some time to finish. So after 30 minutes of placing the order we decide to goto the store. Said I have a order for pick up and the woman said I’d have to wait. The woman making the sandwiches looked like she could give a damn and was going as slow as she wanted to with no urgency and didn’t care bout the few people waiting there I looked down at the order receipts and seen our order was relatively close to the back end of orders which didn’t make sense to me. So after another 15 mins I go back to the car and then my gf decided to go back in and she also waited about 10 minutes and then said she’s just going to cancel the order for how ridiculous of a wait it was. So after another 5 mins finally got the sandwiches in which we still decided to cancel/ get full refund from uber eats. She also said that the woman still decided to put up the sandwich when she already told her the sandwich and she had to tell her that that’s hers. Not sure if it was intentional but that crew there aren’t great with customer service or have good attitudes.
