We were in the area for a show and stopped in on a whim. So glad we did! The margaritas, food, service, everything was amazing. Will definitely be making a trip back to Hamden to eat here again!

We stopped in for lunch and we couldn’t be happier with the food and service we received. The staff were all extremely welcoming and friendly especially to my 2 year old. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We loved it here, a must try in CT!

Delicious food. Lovely atmosphere. Great vegetarian options. Spicy and flavorful homemade salsas. Best beans I've had from a Mexican restaurant. I wish I lived closer ad could come back! Highly recommend this. I lived in California, Texas and Mexico and I have been trying to find good Mexican food in the NE and this was it!! I also loved the sign out front and it made me even happier to support this restaurant.

First off, hands down some of the nicest people in a restaurant period.

Went with my friend last Sunday and the women serving us were very polite and down to earth.

We got the nachos, I got the Mole and my friend got the asada plate.
They make a good drink too!
Finished it all up with some flan

The salsas are perfect and everything else were great sized portion, you won’t leave hungry.

It is a bit expensive but a good meal is always worth the cost.

I recommend everybody give this place a try!

I’ve been to Mazorca many times, and it is one of those places where you can order anything off the menu and it will be incredible. If you’re looking for Mexican fare in the New Haven/Hamden/North Haven area, do yourself a mighty favor & give Mazorca a try.

Absolute highlights for me are the tlacoyas and their house-made salsas.

They sometimes have events certain nights as well – ask the server or the owner (who are sooo accommodating) who are often there.

We came to Mazurka hoping for a good Mexican meal but unfortunately the experience was very disappointing

The food simply was not good The tacos were dry and flavorless and the meat tasted like it had been sitting out for too long The chips were soggy and greasy and the salsa had no freshness or spice It felt like something out of a jar

Service was also lacking We waited far too long for our food and the staff seemed distracted and unmotivated with little attention to customer experience

We tried to end on a good note by ordering dessert but that too was underwhelming The texture was strange and the taste was bland

Overall this is not a place I would return to The food quality was poor the service was weak and the whole experience felt careless There are plenty of better options for Mexican food Mazurka is not one of them
