This is a very small mostly take out place (has maybe 2 sit down booths). I got Pad Thai and it was just okay. The first few bites with shrimp I requested were great, then it kinda lost its luster. I ended up throwing away the last third and for the $16 I paid I probably won’t go back.

They have good service. The food taste good. The downside is that I had food poisoning for two days straight. I started to feel sick shortly after eating the food.

Ordered 4 lunch specials.
All the rice dishes had clumpy lukewarm rice in them. The vegetables were soggy, limp, certainly not fresh. And all were devoid of flavor and very greasy.
Had a lomein dish, the noodles were hot. Again old soggy vegetables. Three dishes with chicken. Very dry, thus old..
One dish had shrimp which seemed to be hot and fresh.
Lastly, ordered crab ragoon appetizer, the outer layer was so chewy, it took awhile to chew to break it up to be able to swallow it.

Bottom line, after spending almost $50.00 for this food. NEVER AGAIN!!

Been eating Thai food for years. This experience was very disappointing.

This restaurant, conveniently located near a Tesla Supercharger, is a great spot to grab a quick and delicious bite. The enticing sounds from the half-open kitchen are a testament to the high quality of the food.

Small restaurant with good food. Portions are good sized. The food is always delicious and fresh. Prices are reasonable. Been here many times for late night Thai and have never been disappointed. We usually get the pad Thai, drunken noodles, and pad see euh.

Came for lunch, disappointed.
Got the Drunken chicken lunch special with rice and crab Rangoon. I'm always leery of ground chicken, it was ok. The crab Rangoon was disgusting, not even sure what that yellow stuff was coming out of the stale overcooked shell. Such a bummer.

Extremely dedicated father and son team (24 years of service!) prepare incredibly delicious dishes. Drunken noodles is my go- to. Appreciate their vegan options!

Vegetarian options: One of the only widely vegan friendly restaurants in Hamden.

Ordered food 30 minutes before closing; they kept the kitchen open for us and still made freshly cooked food. NOT left overs. We were pleasantly surprised with drunken noodles and great taste. 5/5

The most excellent lunch specials around, I cant get enough of the Hot Basil. I recommend this place if Thai is your thing. Dinner portions are also very good, Drunken Noodles is very good as well.
