Absolutely disgusting. I don’t review or even make a stink about anyone who serves food but this place is unbelievable. I ordered 2 burgers 1 turkey for my girl and 1 cheese burger for myself she couldn’t finish her burger because the smell was ridiculous. I couldn’t finish mine because it was a hockey puck. Burnt to a crisp. Last but not least the cake we ordered was sour. I called the owner and told him what happened but all he could say was don’t eat here again. I wish I was making it up but I’m not 🤷

I used to order from here fairly regularly but it had been a while. Ordered the meatloaf today and it was one of the most disgusting meals I've ever seen. The meatloaf was the same consistency as the mashed potatoes. It had no form or flavor and literally looked like it had been whipped or something... Never again!

The service we received could seriously not have been more attentive or polite. Our waitress was spot on, which is pretty uncommon these days. Our omelets were perfectly made to order, fresh and delicious. We will definitely be back!

I live a block from the acropolis diner two miles away and choose to come here instead because this is the best diner in dixwell Ave, one of the best in Hamden/new Haven
They charge me $18 for sausage 3 hashbrown a cup of tea and toast no eggs witch is what i order the order was 3 sausage 2 hash brown weat toast with eggs and tea the eggs never showed up i called about the eggs and was told i had to pay for it!! I cannot do business with them i don't think that's fair ?
