Ordered a smash burger with a Caesar salad. Croutons were soft and most, indicating they were old and from the day before also found lady bugs in my salad. The burger I thought was rare, after taking a couple bites realized it was raw. Spent the rest of the day with food poisoning. Do not recommend this place to anyone.

Our server was distracted, the place was dirty, our table needs to be replaced, top was buckling. Windows dirty, bathrooms, dirty. Overall, not going back and for me this place needs a complete over hall. We watched a gentleman wait out side, I asked our server if he needs help, she was like he's fine. He wasn't, he had to come in and ask for help. I just read the article in West Hartford Life, well if all that is true, not sure what restaurant they are talking about.

We were told of Blue Plate Kitchen by a friend. My son attends Univ of Hartford and every time I fly east to visit - at least 1 breakfast is here. Food is great and the people are attentive and nice.
